Many thanks to Thomson Heating Group who provided all within 2 weeks near Christmas, a 'same day' follow up call to my initial enquiry (to replace 1 radiator), provide a written quote based on photographs I sent after their guidance. Attended on a day that suited my commitments. The engineer Chris was prompt, friendly and worked efficiently before finally cleaning up his work area before leaving. A thank you to to Customer service Lorraine and Hazel who spoke to me on the telephone.

Had a power flush and hive heating installed by Thomsons. Can't fault Thomsons from start to finish. The Engineer David was outstanding very respectful of my home and explained everything he was carrying out . Brilliant Company.

We had a new boiler installed and gas fire serviced. Very happy with all aspects, we were given three quotes with lots of information to make a decision with no sales pressure at all. We are very pleased with the new boiler, the installation was done on time and work very tidy. All staff were friendly and courteous and great communication. We shall be using for ongoing servicing of boiler and gas fire in future.

We recently purchased out property, we employed Thomson Heating to check over the existing combination boiler, connect the existing HIVE control system and instruct us on how to efficiently use the system.

The engineer was very efficient and took time to instruct us on the most efficient use of the control system.

We were extremely impressed with the engineer.

Thomsons came recommended by our daughter and son who have both used the company before and were pleased with the standard of their work. Our experience started with us asking for a quote for a new boiler and for it to be moved to a new location.
After accepting the quote we agreed a start date for the works and the workmen arrived when we were told they would.
On the first day it was two very personable workers who arrived and they both worked hard and cleaned up after themselves.
The second day there was only one worker who never stopped and worked late on the Friday night to complete the job. He took his time explaining how the new boiler worked and did not seem to be put out that he was still with us so late. We would definitely use Thomsons again.

Went out their way to fit the job in quickly as I needed a leaking radiator replaced before a new carpet was fitted.

Genuine good quality customer service over the phone and also by the engineer who did the job. Clean and tidy job by the engineer who clearly took pride in his work.

New central heating boiler installed. We were very happy with the service from David and Chris from Thomson Heating. David was very thorough in trying to diagnose the initial fault when we had no heating and then arranging a quick installation date when we decided to go with a new boiler to replace our 20+ year old boiler. Several options were provided in different price ranges. Chris was punctual, professional and worked extremely hard on installation day. Very happy customer.

I have always found them to be courteous and professional, and I have always felt that my heating system is in experienced hands. I had no hot water or heating from my Vokera Combi boiler and called Thomson Heating and left a voice mail.
Within a couple of hours I had a call back and arranged and engineer for the first available appointment.
As promised I was given a time slot ahead of the appointment and the engineer arrive exactly at the stated time.
I have only praise for the fantastic value ,excellent communication and professional service and will be using them in the future.

1. Annual Worcester Bosch boiler service to maintain long warranty. Making the booking was so easy and confirmed back by email. Couldn't have been more helpful for arranging for me. Engineer was very tidy and took me through what had been checked and left a full service document to keep with the system.
2. Based on the great experience for service had Thomson Heating Group back within two weeks to replace an old radiator and valves and to replace a broken TRV in lounge. All done quickly, cleanly and with no issues at all.

I had read pervious reviews and had decided that this local company was the one to replace my old gas boiler. I was not dissapointed. I have been using Thomson Heating for all my boiler and central heating needs for several years. Everyone, office staff and engineers, are unfailingly polite, helpful and efficient. Thomson Heating installed all new radiators, New Boiler and Hive Control system. Performed pressure flush and chemical clean of system piping.
They removed water tank from loft and water heater cylinder from cupboard space. They disposed of all materials. Additionally, they relocated radiators throughout the house and installed new modern black radiators and individual control valves.

We were really impressed by Hazel and David's very friendly attitude when it came to selecting them to install a new boiler for us. They were both very knowledgeable and very helpful. David was very patient with me answering all my questions when he came to quote for a new boiler. David and his team then installed in very quickly and thanks to his teams skill, you would never know that they had been in working under the floor and behind kitchen units.

The pressure in our boiler dropped which meant we did not have any hot water. I contacted Thomson Heating at 10am and by 2pm the same day I had an engineer at my house to check it out. My annual Gas Boiler check was carried out on Monday 16th May. The time given was between 12/1.00pm but the serviceman arrived 10 minutes late. Other than this, the
job was carried out very well, with the minimum of fuss, and Kevin the serviceman
was very diligent while carrying out the service.

Thomson heating. After receiving original quote for a boiler and also radiator to be fitted I thought I’d be waiting a while before they would be able to do the job but they managed to get me booked in for the following week. The engineer arrived within the agreed time and although he had a 2nd engineer coming in the afternoon to help he thought it still might be too much to get done in the same day. The office called me to explain they may have to book me back in to complete , however I then got another phone call to let me know a third engineer would be coming to make sure it was all done and the original engineer was also willing to work a bit longer.
So thankful that they had been able to make sure all my work was completed the same day. Really happy with the service we received from all involved.

Easy process from start to finish as normal.

We reached out to Thomson Heating Group about installing a new boiler. They were great in getting someone out quickly to give us a quote.

The quote was reasonable and they arranged for the work to be done quickly.

All staff were professional and they really helped us through the process step by step.

We had some small things that we needed fixed as well, like a lockshield on a radiator. They were very helpful even with the smallest of tasks and everything was done quickly.

If we ever need further assistance we will definitely contact them again.

Installation of new gas boiler

From the pre installation to the completion not only was the engineer efficient and considerate but the customer service support staff in the office also made the whole experience of dealing with Thomson Heating Group a process without flaw and something we would be delighted to be involved with in any future projects of this nature.

I had a boiler replaced

I’ve just had a new boiler installed and the work done was superb. I was given a choice of two boilers which was good. The communication with the company was exceptional. On the day of installation I was expecting half of my kitchen to be ripped out (cause that’s what I’ve been told from other company when sourcing new boiler) but much to my surprise nothing like that happened, not even the cupboard the old boiler was in had to be taken apart. It was quick and clean too. I was very pleasantly surprised and now I can enjoy warm flat. This is not the first time I was dealing with this company and definitely not last, and I recommend to everyone knowing everyone will be happy with the service provided.

Phoned Thomson Heating for a broken down boiler on Boxing Day. Customer service was great. Was given a 1 hour time slot for the next day. Was then called the next day to tell me the engineer could come 2 hours earlier, which he did. Boiler was fixed quickly and cleanly. The engineer was very professional and friendly and provided sensible advice.

Thomson's replaced all my radiators, David gave me a very competitive quote and scheduled the job in. Unfortunately I was Ill and had to move the date forward , Hazel was able to do this with no fuss. Chris came in to do the job, he worked away making sure he tidied everything up once he was finished. They always do a good job with great customer service.

I had a combi boiler fitted by Thomson Heating group. The service from start to finish was excellent. David clearly explained the options I had for my replacement boiler and his quote was highly competitive. Replacement of a 23 year old Glow Worm boiler .....still working reliably and serviced annually by David but time for an upgrade to something more efficient.

David and his colleagues are always reliable, turn up on time, do the work required quickly and efficiently and leave a minimum of mess at a reasonable cost.

David listened to concern with old system and advised everything at site visit to replace with a combi from open system, I had confidence to place order and was kept informed by office before an installation around a week later. The two day job to replace with a Worcester Compact boiler and remove tank, old pipes and even the two tanks in loft was carried out efficiently despite hot weather (especially in hard working in loft). The engineer did a great job and kept us informed when was required during job, all the old system parts were cleared away, minimal mess and could hardly tell where old flue was! Sadly a small leak on towel rail needs resolved later as was discovered when system was pressurised, but everything else seems perfect, the 32cdi boiler is excellent and Google Nest too. I'd recommend this company anytime, great job and very fair price. I might not use heating for a month or two mind you!

I needed a boiler fitted plus 4 rads & a towel rail to replace the existing which was 20 years old also to add a Hive system to bring everything up to date and more convenient going forward, I can now get Alexa to turn the heating on/off/up or down. I did my homework checking reviews and Gas Safe Reg info, as I had been in the gas industry for 48 years before I retired 2 years ago. After having quotes and taking everything into consideration I chose Thomson Heating Group, not just on price alone but I decided they were the best company to carry out the work I wanted done.
I am glad to say and echo so many of the other reviews, I was not disappointed. From the initial contact with Hazel, David's survey and finally Chris's professionalism during the 2 day installation, I was well impressed and would have no qualms using them again or recommending them to friends and family in the future.
I wish the Thomson Heating Group all the very best for the future.

Thomson Heating installed a new boiler, all new radiators + towel rails and also replaced all of the central heating pipework. We also had a Nest thermostat installed.

I spoke with Hazel on the phone initially and she was very helpful.

David carried out the initial quote and survey and I found him to be very knowledgeable and helpful, but with no pressure - for example, the replacement of the pipework was at my own request. The overall pricing was very reasonable in comparison to other quotes i had received.

David & Chris did excellent work, working quickly and efficiently. Disruption was kept to a minimum and they were both very clean and tidy.

The new system seems so much better than our previous one, although it'll be winter when we can see the real benefit.

Their nominated builder also did great work patching the old flue hole in the brickwork, you wouldn't know it had even been there.

In summary, we are very happy with the work carried out and would have no hesitation in recommending Thomson Heating to any of our friends and family.

Very cheery engineer, nothing a bother.

We have a new Johnson & Starley Warm Air Unit and a Worcestershire Bosch Greenstar Combi Boiler. The Warm Air unit as well as radiators are heated by the Combi Boiler. My previous Heating company of many years had no idea how to tackle our heating issue of controlling temperature in separate rooms properly and left us with a real problem.
What a relief to find David of Thomson Heating Group. In a matter of just over 3 hours he undid the damage done by the previous established company, and fitted a system that provides total control of both warm air and individual radiators. As a time served and professionally qualified engineer I was amazed and delighted to observe the skill and neatness of the transformation. His tutoring of the system was patient and lucid. We hope to have a long and enduring relationship with Thomson Heating Group Ltd.

Have used this company before and they always do an excellent job. The boiler gave up and they were able to get out to me quickly. Ended up getting a new boiler and the engineer was really friendly and did a brilliant job and cleaned up after installation.
