Can't rate James highly enough. Price for work was very reasonable, work started on arranged date and completed well within stated time. Cleaned up every night after finishing and quality of work top notch. Nothing too much of a hassle and would recommend James without hesitation.

James reroofed our house. He gave us an estimate, brought a selection of roof tiles to choose from and then ordered materials and started within a week. He arranged skip hire and delivery of materials. He gave us a timescale of when the work would be completed, and told us each day what time he would arrive the next morning. He kept us in the picture at each stage of the work and made sure everything was left tidy each day. The work was completed a day earlier than expected and to a high standard. Everything was left clean and tidy. We have used James for checking our roof and clearing moss for more than 10 years; he also installed UPVC fascia, soffit and guttering for us 3years ago. He is always a pleasure to deal with. We recommend him wholeheartedly.

I recently had my roof, fascias, soffits, gutters and rainwater pipes replaced for a reasonable price and fully guaranteed by James Mullen roofing.

I've used this company before and was so happy with James' work that when our garage roof started to let in water, we contacted him for a quote. He came, priced the job and we agreed to go ahead. A wee break in the bad weather the following week and he came and did all the work - new gutter and complete refelt of the roof. He is such a hard worker and always does a great job. Really dependable and a lovely guy too.

My roof was de-mossed by hand, gutters cleaned, damaged tiles replaced, ridge tiles repointed/ re-bedded where required and new lead flashing fitted to the front porch. All the work was carried out to a very high standard and Mr Mullin was even happy to fill up some openings in the stone work to stop bees entering, which had been a problem in the past.
Mr Mullin always arrived when he said he would, was friendly, polite and explained what he intended to do to ensure it was what I wanted.
I am now considering having the house guttering replaced and Mr Mullin will be my first choice for advice and a quotation.

My garage roof was leaking on one side I contacted James following a recommendation from a friend. I initially contacted him in July21, due to the amount of work he had he advised it would be the spring before he would have space, he kept in touch with me throughout that time and came to complete the work this week. He explained exactly what was needed and when further damage detected once the roof had been stripped detailed exactly what was required. I am delighted with the result and as James said the roof should outlast him and me which is what I needed to hear, as previously I had been advised a whole new roof would be required !

I had my leaking garage roof re-felted by James recently. He did a very neat job and explained everything fully, even showing me photographs of the bits I couldn’t see. He is reliable, honest and trustworthy, a neat and tidy worker and a very nice chap to deal with. As with all trades at the moment, I had to wait a while for this job to be done but in my opinion it was worth the wait. I have already recommended him to a neighbour and would not hesitate in recommending him again.

James Mullin is an experienced roofer. He did my son's roof and my son was very pleased. So I got James to renew my roof as I needed that done. James is punctual, reliable and very skilled. When the work was completed, everything was tidied up, windows washed etc and debris removed in a skip.

We found James to be an excellent tradesman whose work is of a very high standard and who kept us informed throughout the job of his progress and what the next steps would be.
We asked him to check our roof tiles as he was working at that level and he painstakingly cleared every inch of moss (and there was a lot) by hand and replaced a number of broken and damaged tiles for us. Despite this additional work the job was finished on time and everything was cleared up and left spotless.

We would definitely use this company again and would recommend them to anyone who needs work of this kind done.

James agreed to replace guttering when the weather was too wet for his other work. On a day of extreme rain he came and replaced all the guttering and downpipes to a high standard. I don't know how he didn't dissolve that day!
The guttering looks terrific and has made the house look so much tidier outside.

James re roofed our garage roof which was in a very poor state of repair. All work was carried out to a very high standard, with James taking pictures of the roof to show the good progress he was making. A thoroughly professional job, could not recommend him more highly to anyone needing roofing work carried out.

Had the ridging replaced and the leading waterproofed. (Sole worker and able to maintain social distancing - making home storm-proof was required!)

Came when he said he would, quote was competitive, work was completed quickly and efficiently and with no mess. Have already recommended him to anyone who needs a roofer!

Mr Mullin proved to be a n extremely conscientious worker. Work was carried out to highest standard, 10 out of 10.

James installed new UPVC soffits, fascia and gutters, prepared and painted all down pipes and prepared and painted window ingoes and sills. He also checked the roof tiles and repaired pointing to roof ridges. All work was completed to a very high standard and James tidied up at the end and took away all waste materials.
We have used James for many years to check our roof and had no hesitation in asking him for a quote to do the above work.
We are very happy with the completed work and would certainly recommend James to others. Not only is his work excellent, he is a very pleasant person to deal with.

Couldn't fault Mr Mullin in any way. I'm an elderly widow and he couldn't have been kinder and has offered, free of charge, to look over my roof yearly and will advise accordingly.

James has a great manner for this job - explains what he's going to do and updates you on his progress. he doesn't waste any time, just gets on it with hardly a break.
