1st Fencing and Decking

1st Fencing and Decking replaced an old timber fence for me. From initial estimate to completion, everything went smoothly and I was very happy with the finished fence.

Great workmanship I got exactly what I asked for. Completed on the day arranged. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Back fencing replaced. George and his fellow worker arrived on time and made a super job of fencing and tidied up afterwards. Both worked well were polite and called over to thank me for coffee. Would not hesitate to get them again.

We had a new deck and balustrade fitted to replace our old deck. George and Jason arrived promptly each day and were very hard working. They worked on during very heavy rain but did not rush the job and paid great attention to detail making sure that each piece of the deck was exactly right. The job was completed in four days and we are really pleased with the finished deck. We would recommend this company.

Replacement fencing and gate - all work done to a very high standard. Can wholly recommend them for doing the work in a very difficult area of our garden, while always being friendly and professional.

George and Jason replaced our old fences and built a gate for us. They were very hard working and the finish was of high-quality and exactly as we had asked for. George and Jason replaced 3 fences and built a large decking area for us. Both are extremely polite, punctual and communicative. From planning to conclusion everything was perfect. Top quality job completed by two exceptionally hard working guys and delivered on time. Our garden was left in immaculate condition, all replaced timberand soil were removed or recycled on site with our agreement.

Extremely happy with the work George carried out. He replaced all our fencing, removed all waste and was a pleasure to deal with.

50m of 1.8 vertical pale fencing. I gave him a specification Came back with a price I accepted.
Told me he couldn't start for a few weeks, which was fine. Started on given date, removed old fence and removed. Built new fence within timescale quoted.
Good job, neat, tidy, looks good. Cleaned up after No 'extras' asked for. Fence survived winter gales.

At first I had a bunch of chancers in for a quick buck and totally unreliable. Had wood delivered like I was asked, only to not turn up. I called George and within 2 days he had it up perfectly with his mate. So don't hesitate to call George a great price and wouldn't rip you off like many others

I have just had my fencing and decking completed today by George & Barry of 1st Fencing & Decking and am absolutely delighted. Superb job from start to finish and not afraid of the typical Scottish weather. They keep you updated every step of the way and price was very reasonable. The work entailed removal of a large area of old hedging and replacement with a fence. The guys worked really hard to remove the hedge which was a tough job given the age and size of the hedge and the fact that it was on a slope. The fence itself is exactly what was required and done to a very standard. Overall a friendly and professional service from start to finish, I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

We needed fencing on all but one side around a mid-terrace back garden and the same for a very small front garden. George was really great to work with. He listened to what we wanted and was keen to solve the problems we had in a way that would both meet our needs, but also leave us with a strong, long lasting fence. It was clear he cared about it being a good job and his craftsmanship is excellent. Really happy with the end result and would use the team again.

I got my front and backdoor fenced off in November and the work was amazing ! The quality of my fence is second to none and would definitely have George come out and do more work for me, I have him coming out to do my decking once im ready for it, listened to what I wanted and delivered an even better standard than I thought ! Worked quickly and effortlessly and the price is very reasonable for the work provided ! Customer service is 100% and would recommend him to anyone who asked :)
