Following the storms this winter, we were concerned about the watertightness of our roof and flat roof. We contacted SPS's Colin, who came out and inspected both roofs and the window surrounds too. He identified a couple of issues, provided a verbal there and then, and followed it up with a written report, with priced repairs. He recommended we wait until the worst of the winter had passed to allow the repairs to be done in drier weather. We agreed that this was sensible. In the interim, a neighbour had a concern with a chimney, so I messaged Colin and asked him if he could help. He came out, inspected and repaired the chimney there and then, for a very fair price.
The following week, he came out and carried out all the repairs professionally and with care towards the property.
What a pleasure it was to deal with such a professional and courteous company. We will definitely use SPS again if required

The job on the pan tile roof of my bungalow was to replace a broken ridge tile and to repoint a long line of ridge tiles using coloured cement.

Colin and his team of 2 arrived on time, worked safely, efficiently and tidily, and although it's early days appear to have done a high quality job that will last for many years. I've used Colin before and once again he was friendly and keen to answer any questions I had. He also invoiced me exactly as per his quotation despite this being over a year old (the job was meant to be done last summer but I delayed him as a large number of wasps had created a nest where he would have been working, and Colin agreed with me that delaying the work was best). He also undertook, without charging me, a couple of minor repairs that came to his attention on the day.

Colin and his team came out to investigate the cause of several leaks in our flat roof. The suggested work was clearly explained, with photographs used to illustrate key points and problem areas. We needed our flat roof to be repaired as it was leaking. Colin replied and came to inspect the job quickly. He took photos to show the damage so that we could see the damage. His quote came in quickly and a time frame to repair planned for the next day or two. Work completed. Very happy with his work and we plan to get some maintenance done in the spring/summer when the weather is better.

Quality of work first class

Colin replaced my soffits and guttering. Came when he said he would, kept in touch and did a smart job. What a really nice team. I would recommend them to anyone. Even came out promptly to complete some minor snagging.

Colin from SPS completed the replacement of my house flat-roof and also my detached garage roof. He was very professional and very clear. He provided a detailed quote and showed me several options for materials and how I like the work to be done. We agreed on a specific time for the work and he completed the work on time as planned. The work was done to a high standard and provided pictures for all stages of the work. The quotation was slightly higher than other companies but it was worth it. Polycarbonate conservatory roof replaced. Very happy with the work done. It took longer than I expected for the work to be scheduled, but I understand this was a busy time. I would definitely recommend Colin and Harry, based on this job.

Replacement of flat roof bridging alley way from main house to outhouse. Removal of existing tiles and resiting of drainage channel to cure ingress of water which was damaging interior of outhouse. A small amount of additional work was identified in order to fully protect the run off of water from the outhouse roof. This work to be done soon.
This is the second roofing task to be completed by Colin and his apprentice. They worked very hard from the minute they arrived until they departed. I would recommend the services of SPS roofing.

Repair of a large storage shed roof, damaged during Storm Arwen; when seeking quotes for an insurance claim this small family firm responded promptly, visited the site within 24 hours and prepared a quote the next day. Dormer window roof needed repairs done.
I'd had another roofer tell me I needed the whole dormer roof replaced, at a cost of £2000... I asked Colin to came take a look, to get a 2nd opinion, and was super glad I did. Colin took photos to show me the damage, and explained exactly what the problem was and how they could fix it (just repairs needed, cost £300). Colin was extremely courteous, professional and friendly.
They also tidied up after themselves, so much so you wouldn't have known they'd been.

The fascia on my garage needed replacing. I confess I was a bit sceptical that any tradesman could be as good as the reviews on this website indicated. I was wrong. Once contacted, Colin was quick to visit and assess the job. He was friendly, and took time to explain the options and advise how he would recommend the work be done. He provided a written quote promptly, giving a fair price and answering the one or 2 queries I had quickly. The job was not urgent so it was a few months before he and his apprentice, Harry, came to do the work (several named winter storms had given them lots of emergency work to attend to during the limited daylight hours of winter). But over the 1.5 days they were with me they worked hard, demonstrated a lot of skill, produced a fine looking product and left my property clean and tidy. I have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending them.

Emergency repair required for storm damage to our house roof. I found SPS Roofing on the Trusted Trader website and it immediately appealed because the firm is only a few miles away. Colin and father turned up almost immediately. The price quoted was very good and the work was done to a very high standard in a couple of days. Would highly recommend this company, I called and spoke to Kenny and his son Colin came and carried out the repairs the same day. We had a leak on the roof from some missing tiles which were replaced. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.

Colin painted our old concrete garage asbestos roof inside and out with liquid rubber paint and installed new rhones. Colin and his father worked very hard and conscientiously. We had some polycarbonate roofing replaced ,some upvc cladding instead of two pieces of polycarbonate and some flat roofing was replaced.
Colin came round twice to give us options and was helpful in coming up with a solution that we were happy with. The actual work was done over a few days and they had to go into a neighbours garden ,which was cleaned up after they worked. Everything was carefully done and the work was excellent . I would have no hestitation in recomending SPS .

Repairs to the roof after storm damage. Colin and Brian came to price the job very quickly, gave a full written quotation and supplied photos of the damage as the block is 3 stories high and couldn’t be viewed from the ground. Once the 6 owners agreed to use SPS roofing the job was done as soon as the weather permitted and was completed within days. When the invoice was sent out a full set of photos was supplied so we could see the completed job.
