This is the second job on our property in recent years, the first was a Glass Fibre roof on the dormer, garage and garden store room. This latest job was on our dining room extension. The men on the job were very pleasant and well organised. They left the site clean and tidy every day they were on the job and we are more than happy with the finished job and very happy to recommend Roof & Fibre. In conjunction with the main contractor we also had 2 sun tunnels installed.They paid a lot of attention to what the finished job would look like and consulted with us throughout.

Complete new tiled roof to our house and garage including gutters and downpipes. Roof & Fibre, a local company, was the most competitive quotation from all received. Work was planned, and completed as programmed and no additional costs incurred. Staff and workmen were attentive, responsive and left the area clean and tidy. Obviously weather dependant, but worked in a sequence to suit and manage any interruptions. All work guaranteed and annual inspection programmed to ensure good maintenance achieved if required.

Great company came when the said they would come. Friendly hardworking guys. Went above and beyond, work was done professionally and they cleaned the area once they were finished. Roof and Fibre carried out Roof repairs, Guttering replacement and structural repairs to gable roof parapet. I cant fault one aspect of the company , from Lindsay arriving very promptly to review the works to then receive a fully detailed quotation that was accepted without hesitation. We were kept fully up to speed on the programme of works .Frank and Jake carried out the works with the greatest professionalism and with full honest review of unidentified issue that arose whilst carrying out my repairs . This is actually the Third time we've hired Roof & Fibre for repairs, but this was the biggest job by far. We had a leak in the roof over the extension of our house, which was down to invasive plant roots creeping in under the tiles. Lindsay and his team responded quickly to look at what needs doing, showing up promptly at the time they said they would and doing top quality work within our agreed budget.

Special mention goes to Leah in the office, who communicated with us clearly and regularly to let us know when and how things were happening, especially since roofing work is heavily dependent on weather conditions heading into the winter months.

Lead work on 4 gables, and an element of re-roofing over an extended period.
Roof and Fibre are one of those entirely trustworthy firms and provide a very capable service. The lead work by Lindsay (Junior) is truly excellent, while his colleague Frank seamlessly complemented this task with his own impeccable roofing, joinery skills and work ethic: a superb team and worth waiting for. I was grateful to their office with keeping me apprised of the cause of any predicted hold-ups (only ever weather) in sufficient time for me to progress other tasks needed on the house.

Lindsay and the team replaced the roof on my house. Good communication throughout the process with clarity provided at all points from when the work would start, briefings at the end of each day on what had been done and what would be done the following day. Roof and Fibre have done an amazing job replacing the slate and lead on our listed cottage by the sea in Elie. It had been 60 years since it was last slated and I was nervous of what a 'new roof' might do to the look of the building. Roof and Fibre's workmanship was immaculate and the finished roof is looking amazing. Many passersby are commenting on how neat the finished job is and the neighbours are grateful for how tidy Roof and Fibre kept the site while working. We had our stone gutter lined with fibre glass and the roof seam sealed from gutter to the apex at both ends. We tried a couple of local companies who promised quotes but didn't deliver. Roof & Fibre provided an excellent assessment of the work required and delivered their services in an expedient and professional manner.

Repairs to leak on pantile roof, installation of new lead flashing, replacement of cast iron gutter, and replacement of Velux window. Work carried out diligently, good quality finish, polite workforce, with consideration for ourselves and our neighbours.

Roof & Fibre have just completed a major repair to our old slate roof which was in a much worse condition than originally thought. They also installed air vents, replaced tiles, the ridge along the roof and flashing. Lindsay organised the scaffolding and arranged for a plumber and joiner to carry out extensive work before roofers could start. They were all excellent and turned up on the day and time we were told. He kept us well informed at every stage of the work and his team were all friendly and hard working. I have no hesitation at all in recommending Roof & Fibre if you are looking for a solid, professional and guaranteed job - excellent all round.

The team arrived when they said, ensured areas were tidied before they left and keep me up to date with progress. The quality of the work is very good. Very pleased with the job done.

Roof and Fibre gave a detailed and understandable estimate for the work. They were neither the cheapest not the dearest for the work. The work was completed slightly over schedule. To my unpractised eye the tradesmen were thorough i their approach and willing to discuss their progress with me.

Replacement roof. Excellent job done. Realistic and accurate estimate of start date. Kept us informed about arrival of materials. Once the job started, regular progress reports were given as we were not on site. Neighbours commented on how helpful workmen had been. Overall an excellent job done.

I had the chimney breast removed from the roof of my house by The Roof and Fibre Company because I was uninstalling my gas fire. I also needed repairs done on both my house and garage rooves which were leaking. On his initial visit, Lindsay took photos of my roof to pinpoint the problems that needed rectified and the work that was required , and unlike previous companies I'd had out, he accurately sourced the areas of the rooves and chimney that needed urgent attention. Initially, the bad storms we'd had over Winter meant that the job appointment had to be postponed, but Lindsay and his team ensured that the wet weather wouldn't cause further damage to the rooves by doing some temporary repairs before the work was to begin. From start to finish there was good communication and the guys were professional, friendly and very tidyfrom start to finish. I would certainly use the company again for any future projects and would highly recommend them.

From the moment we met with Lindsay, his son and the team were all very personable and professional.
During initial visit we discussed our needs and he talked us through various options to allow us to come to an informed decision.
Work on site was delayed slightly due to Covid, but as soon as they were able to safely work, the team were straight here. They were all pleasant and courteous, tidied up after themselves at the end of each day, and provided a daily progress report.
The work was completed to an excellent standard and several people round the town have commented how great it now looks, especially as we choose to go with leading on the coping stones at the gable end, which I have to say looks really great and will last for a very, very long time.
The fibreglass dormer really finishes off the roof nicely.
