We had a whole new roof installed on our house. Once I had contacted Scott, he came round the same day and quickly gave us a quote for the whole job.
Once a start date had been arranged, he and his team arrived on the day and completed the work well within the time they said they would.
All the work undertaken was carried out extremely professionally to a high standard and the roof looks great. Would have no problem in highly recommending them or use them again in the future if we need any other roofing work done.

New Roof

We called Scott (itsmyroof) after we discovered a hole in our roof. He came out to assess the damage very quickly and advised us what needed to be done.

He also arranged to send us a written report and pictures detailing the problem(s). A date for the work to be carried out was agreed and a quote for the work was also provided.

Scott maintained contact with us until the start date and the work was completed in double quick time.

We cannot thank Scott enough - his professional service was exceptional (and so was that of his team).

Scott was really quick to respond to my work I had posted on trusted trader, which I was using for first time. I had a small brown water mark appear in bedroom ceiling so knew a leak must be in attic/roof which got me worried a little.
Scott was professional, reliable, genuine, and fitted me in as soon as he could. He assessed my whole roof giving me peace of mind that it was In good form apart from a couple broken roof tiles, some valley repair and cement pointing at ridge which needed some attention - he showed me the pictures to let me see and understand this. He gained my confidence with being genuine about the actual area of the roof that needed some TLC.

He did a great job and fitted the work in as soon as he could within the week, which was just fab and a relief, as I was not to keen to leave it unattended for too long, especially as it's January and rainy damp weather.

I know I will be contacting Scott for any roof maintenance required in future but I would also definitely recommend him (itsmyroof) to anyone needing a roofer.

Itsmyroof recently replaced old guttering with new and took all the old stuff away.
The lads arrived at the agreed time and date worked hard and efficiently carried out all the work with friendly good humour.

Day 1 - Old roof stripped back to rafters and chimney removed into attic level. New boarding added then watertight membrane.
Day 2 - Wooden batons installed over the membrane ready for new tiles to be added.
Day 3 onwards - Really heavy rain over several days which hindered the joinery work but the roof had already been made watertight on Day 1 so we weren't worried on the days the heavens opened. Before the new roof tiles could go on, the new upvc facings and sofits were fitted at the eaves. Gable end re-clad and the bay window there had to have rotten wood removed and replaced prior to that being reclad. So relieved the joiner didn't just cover it over with new upvc and showed us how rotten the old wood had become over the years. New facings, sofits and cladding added to living room bay window.

New roof tiles to main roof with new gutters and downpipes done in little over a day, along with new guttering and downpipe to living room bay window too.
Our recommendation - like most people getting major work done to their home, we were really anxious choosing a company after getting the recommended three quotes. We chose well with Scott who owns Itsmyroof.com He ensured we got what we wanted and we are really chuffed with the result by him and his team. Any questions we had were quickly responded to and he kept us informed all along the process. We used this roofing company because of its high customer ratings and good testimonials on the Fife Trusted Trader website. Our experience, however, was very disappointing. We engaged them to repair a leaking roof. They charged us a lot for what turned out to take them very little time and didn’t actually solve the problem. They then submitted a much higher quote for additional work that they claimed would be needed to stop the leak. This included a sum for ‘diagnosis’ of the problem – something that they patently did not do correctly first time round. Also, within a few days of the original work being done they were pestering us for payment, something that we considered very unprofessional. So as they seriously over-charged us for a failed repair we will not be using them again and certainly cannot recommend them.

Was a bit surprised at how quick the chimney work was done, expecting a full day for the cost, but he knew what he was doing, so just bashed on. Refreshing to get a roofer who was reliable after having several bad experiences.
