Paul did an excellent job of the new roughcast which I needed done at the front of my property. The original rendering had become very worn down and had cracked in several places, vulnerable to rain getting in. It badly needed redone. I found that there are not many firms in Fife that can provide this type of service (despite several internet searches), but when I found Grubb Roofing on Trusted Trader, I noticed they could also do roughcasting. Paul returned my phone call very quickly and was extremely helpful and professional from start to finish. After doing the beading, the actual rendering was done in only about 4 hours but to a very high standard (of course, that depends on the size of the area you need done). The exterior now looks so much better (my property is a ground floor flat in a 2-storey block) and, most importantly, weatherproof. The original roughcast can be seen in the top left hand corner of the photo.

The storm damaged the roof ridges. I contacted Paul Grubb to see if he could sort it out urgently, which he and his team did by the next day to check it and fix it on the day, then back with ridges on the other day, which it's completely done, which is a very good job to get it done quicker for last minute. We contracted Paul to provide a new roof for our house. Despite a couple of glitches, we have awarded an overall 5 star rating. Problems do arise but it is the manner in which these are dealt with that reflects the calibre of the company employed. Severe weather interrupted the job which left our roof exposed to the elements before the actual tiling could be started. Speaking with Paul to raise our concerns about possible water damage Paul stopped the work and arranged for the exposed roof to be covered with a waterproof membrane. On completion of the work we again had bad weather which resulted in a leak due to a flue pipe not having been properly secured. Contacting Paul resolved the issue immediately. The job was completed a number of weeks ago and we are pleased that everything is in order. We have had people commenting positively on the work he and his team have done. We would recommend Paul's company as from our experience, Paul was easy to contact and kept us up to speed with what he and his team were doing. He responded quickly and positively to any questions we had of him. He met all the commitments made when bidding for the job. He is trustworthy and we would use his company again.

Paul and his Team completed my house roofing and porch refurbishment upgrade when I was on holiday.
He power washed the roof, replaced all the guttering and sanded down all facia / soffit, repainted all the facia / soffit. When I returned the refurbishment was completed. There was no evidence that they had ever been at my house. An excellent refurbishment completed with minimal disruption.

Prior to lockdown we had contracted Paul and his Team to undertake a full roof replacement. Due to lockdown restrictions the work was delayed however Paul kept us updated throughout. When restrictions were lifted Paul and his Team wasted no time in carrying out our full roof renewal. They arrived early each day and wasted no time in carrying out the work. Each day all old materials were placed in a skip, all rubbish on the driveway, patio etc was cleared and bagged. The skip was taken away and emptied at the end of each day.
