First class service from start to finish from the whole team. From being shown all the possible options to replace our 40+ year old door to the surveyor coming out quickly to measure up. They even understood that due to other work being done on the house the installation date may have to change. The team came promptly this morning to install the door and have done an amazing job. The two men arrived punctually and worked almost 6 hours - in spite of light, sometimes heavy rain - they were cheerful, helpful - helped release one of the metal grids over an outlet drain just outside the garage. This had been a bit jammed by a previous workman.

I contacted 6 companies about fitting a new manually operated garage door. Two companies didn’t reply and two companies were only interested in fitting an automatic garage door – they didn’t quite understand that all I was looking for was a door for an outdoor storage cupboard … why would I want an electric door; I certainly don’t have electric doors on my internal storage cupboards!! Enter Express Garage Doors.
They clearly understood what I was after and explained the kind of manually operated garage door that they could fit. Needed a new garage door. Went to the showroom, and after a nice demonstration, we chose the style we wanted. Deposit paid and a fitting date was quickly arranged. Received informative emails, keeping me in the loop. Team arrived at stated time, and as well as fitting new door, and taking away old one, they also gave the garage a clean, and took out some driveway vegetation !!
I was them shown the operational requirements, to make sure I didn't break the lock (60% chance it would have happened)
Brilliant stuff, and the new door looks smart and classy.

Hormann garage door fitted today . What a great customer experience, from my initial enquiry with the office staff ( Morag in particular ) , to the final 10mm of top quality external silicon carried out under a floodlight . How good it was to see top quality tradesmen and grafters ( viz Colin , Cullen and Innes ) delivering a first class piece of installation . Particular attention was paid to the last 5% of the job - namely the finishing touches and tidy-up especially as the rain came on and with fading daylight . Such a rare commodity, these days, to come across a quality team who take great pride in delivering a superior quality job .

This is at least the 3rd time we have used Express Garage Doors. This time was the replacement of a garage wooden pedestrian door in a poor shape with a roller door. We expect the roller door to last much longer than the wooden one, with less maintenance. We have 2 car roller doors over 13 years old which are in excellent condition.
