Demolition of a chimney at our home. Ainslie & Macaulay attended promptly and gave an estimate and an approximate date for the work to start. They started on time. They worked hard, took all necessary precautions, and were careful of our garden and surroundings.

The work was very well done and quickly finished. They cleared up extremely well and removed all rubble and rubbish from the site.

Work done: Replacing gutters and repairing roof tiles.

After initial delays due to supply issues, the two workmen showed up and worked terrifically hard, getting all the work done within a couple of mornings. The leaky roof spot is growing no more despite all this winter of storms has thrown at it. The cast-iron gutters are doing a great job too, and I'm sure they will outlive me! Thanks guys.

I called Ainslie and MacAulay to replace a few roof tiles. On inspection they found it was actually lead flashing and no replacement required. They noticed the verge was loose and repaired it. I am very pleased with their work and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Even although costs had gone up since original quote, Colin did not pass these onto me by increasing the price, he absorbed the cost himself. Would gladly use again and recommend.

Had a number of small roofing jobs needing to be done (section of high up guttering to be replaced, 5 x metal hip ridges added, large old boiler flue removal and some roof edgings to be re- attached). Ainslie and Macauley came round to estimate the work promptly, gave a professional quote and after accepting it they arrived to do the work sooner than the originally estimated timescale which was a pleasant surprise these days!

There was no messing about on the day, the two chaps just got on with each job incredibly quickly and efficiently and I was absolutely delighted with the quality of the work done. No mess, really neat and quality workmanship and they took all the old bits away .
