I had a unwanted visitor in the loft of my home. I read the reviews listed and decided to contact Derek on a Sunday. He attended at my home the following day and carried out an inspection. He identified a possible entry point at my neighbour's house which has been blocked off. He set traps and gave me more of an insight to this kind of problem than larger more branded companies and charged a fraction of the price.

Had a ‘small visitor’ in our loft so by a friends recommendation contacted Active Pest Solutions. Derek attended promptly and set a number of traps. His advice to help eradicate the problem was first class, and acted upon by ourselves.

He paid a return visit, cleared up and took the ‘small visitor’ (now departed) away. Carried out a final inspection of our property to make sure the measures in place were adequate.

This company came to clear cluster flies. Derek was efficient and informative. He explained what he was doing and why and made himself available, if needed again, in the next couple of weeks, in the unlikely event that the flies come back. However, he was very thorough and doesn't expect to be needed. Very reasonable charge.

I contacted Derek of Active Pest Solutions one morning about a wasps nest in our roof space and he arrived to spray the nest that afternoon. Despite the nest being in a difficult place to access he still managed to carry out the work in a quick and efficient manner, at a very reasonable price. Derek also offered to return to have a second go at the nest another day at no extra charge if the problem wasn't eradicated - which in our case was necessary. Derek of Active Pest Solutions is a very polite, friendly, knowledgeable and reliable tradesman.
