I’ve just bought and needed to replace the extractor hood and washing machine. The team at White Eagle was really prompt in their reply, and installed the new appliances within two days of my request. They offered me a good price on the washing machine and were very responsive with the questions I had.
I am really impressed with the service and will definitely go to White Eagle if I have any other small jobs in the house!!

Our microwave stopped working and we contacted White Eagle Repair, having used them before for appliance repairs. A friendly engineer came out and spent some time testing and examining the microwave before fitting a new microswitch, which fixed the problem at low cost. We were impressed by his diligence in finding a solution, since we were resigned to probably having to buy a new microwave, but that was not necessary. We would definitely recommend White Eagle Repair and use them again.

It was 9 months ago I last used White Eagle Repair, and that wasn't the first time, but I was recommending them to a friend today when I realised I hadn't left a review. I cannot recommend them highly enough - quick to respond, came at the agreed time, fixed the problem with my hob and fitted a new washing machine. All at a good value, fixed price. Excellent service.

My Neff dishwasher door was falling down when I opened it. Arek came promptly to assess what needed done and returned in less than a week with the spare parts required. In the wink of an eye it was fixed … and the drain hose that had been lying on the floor of the sink unit since the kitchen was installed in 2012 …. Is now raised up to an appropriate level. Very happy with what Arek has done.

Our fridge freezer went on the blink and stopped working after the freezer door had been slightly open while we were away overnight. There were helpful suggestions on the White Eagle website (switch off and leave to defrost for at least 5 hours) and the service from the company was brilliant: phoned Monday morning, allocated a 2hr time slot the next day, the engineer arrived on time and was first class. Fridge freezer now running properly! I would definitely use this company again for any domestic electrical repairs.

Installed integrated dishwasher in an awkward position in our kitchen. Two men from another company had said 'it can't be done' and left, leaving us without a dishwasher when not only had I just been discharged from hospital, it was almost Christmas.
Ewa from White Eagle promised me 'there is always a way' and it took Andrejs only about 90 minutes to manage perfectly.
Polite, clean, discrete. Great to be able to pay with card and receive electronic receipt immediately.
Cheaper than the other company for installation too- would definitely use again in preference!

We were let down by two other repair companies who gave us poor advice and made the issue worse. White Eagle Repair have been absolutely fantastic from the moment we contacted them, they are extremely reliable, very reasonable price wise and kept in touch whilst we waited for new parts (we didn’t have to wait long as they made sure they ordered and picked up the parts very quickly). They even visited us out of hours to ensure the washing machine was fixed. I can’t recommend this company enough, I wish we had contacted them first. We will be using them from now on for any repairs needing done

Marek found the source of leak from my washing machine which only happened during the cycle . No immediate cause obvious on checking the machine initially so Marek advised me to start machine and to call him when leak happened , he came back , sourced the problem and sorted it .
A previous company had checked machine over , didn't find a problem and then told me engineer didn't have time to wait whilst cycle happened thereby leaving me with a faulty machine and £36 out of pocket.
I know which company is now top of my list.

Tomak explained the fault and the potential cost of either fixing it or coping with what was more or an irritation. I decided to live with it and there was no fee, although he gave the machine a thorough check at the same time. He was very polite and considerate and I would certainly use White Eagle again.

White Eagle did an outstanding job replacing an old shower unit with a new one that had to be moved inside the shower stall, including removal and replacement of some tiles. The work was done much faster than expected at an excellent price, and I appreciated the prompt communications, detailed estimate that included sourcing all parts, and reliable, punctual service. I contacted White Eagle, late afternoon, when the door release button on my washer/dryer broke. Ewa contacted me within a few hours of leaving a message and arranged for a technician to come round within 30 hours of my request.

Very impressed with White Eagle Repair. Tomek arrived on time, was friendly, professional and diagnosed the issue within minutes. Replacement parts were required - which they were able to obtain very quickly. Once parts had arrived, Tomek was back with us to carry out the repair the following morning. So glad to have our washing machine working again! I will not hesitate to call White Eagle in future.

As I am new to Edinburgh and finding companies to do the work was difficult but I chose White Eagle Repair to help us with our washing machine. The problem I had was that my washing machine caused the circuit board to trip out. Once I called White Eagle Repair, they were super quick in calling out to my house. They went through the components of the washing machine to find the fault. They order the new part and the next day fitted the new heating element.
Communication between the company owners were excellent. Ewa was super and Marek & Robert were gentlemen. I will definitely be using White Eagle Repair again if I have any issues with my appliances. A great service.

Faultless service and customer experience - very highly recommended. They responded faster than anyone else, came out to assess our broken washing machine before anyone else had even replied over New Year, diagnosed it within 5 mins, made a recommendation for a replacement machine, and came to fit the new machine the day after it was delivered. Also disconnected and removed the old machine, plus all of the packaging. And arrived bang on the time advised, twice. Meantime Ewa in the office kept us fully informed at all times. Keep up the great work!

I contacted White Eagle Repair via email and got a text first thing on the Monday morning. The day before the repair I was sent a text with a two hour slot. The guy turned up within the allocated time. Within minutes he had determined what was wrong with my washer/dryer and confirmed the cost which was entirely reasonable. I thought I needed a new machine but it cost £20 for a part which he repaired there and then. Excellent service, excellent value for money. I would definitely recommend their services.

Fantastic service. My 15 year old Neff washing machine had been working fine, but then could fill and drain, but not spin. I texted at 1pm and was given an appointment the next morning. The engineer came and spent over an hour trying to sort it out, and changed the carbon brushes but it still wouldn’t work. He got his boss Marek to come and check the boards in the afternoon, and he confirmed that was the problem. He went away to try and source a second hand board, as £150 for new board not worth it given age of machine. He wasn’t able to get one sadly and texted me to let me know. White Eagle promptly agreed a next day date and time to repair our washing machine. The problem was quickly identified (new bushes required), a very reasonable quote given and the machine was fixed in 20 minutes together with a 6 month guarantee. The door spring on our dishwasher failed and whilst it was still usable, the door would spring open very quickly.
Contacted White Eagle and left a message which was answered within half an hour.
The engineer (Tomak) agreed a date and time and turned up promptly. He analysed the fault and identified the broken part. There was an additional problem with a damaged bracket the part should attach to. Tomak took it upon himself to engineer a solution for this issue. A date was agreed for his return visit. Again he was very punctual and effected a repair within 40 minutes of arrival. The door now functions as intended.
Tomak is polite, punctual and made sure to work within current pandemic guidelines at all times.
No hesitation whatsoever in recommending the company based on our experience with Tomak and the office. They are added to our own 'trusted trader' contacts.

Despite several attempts to clean a mouldy washing machine seal, I wasn’t seeing much improvement and decided to get some quotes to replace the seal. White Eagle Repair were quick to respond to emails, quoted a competitive price and arranged the job within a couple of days. Marek did a great job and the washing machine is now as good as new! Tomek replaced a heating element on a cooker for us. From the moment we contacted this company they were brilliant. They kept us informed all the way along about the ordering of the part and their timings for undertaking the job. They came exactly when they said they would and did a really neat and quick job. Their pricing was really honest and there were no hidden extras. Given that one Edinburgh company had quoted us three times as much as White Eagle Repair, I think you can see they don't try and make you pay for more than the work, parts VAT. Tomek was highly covid safe as well and very reassuring. We will certainly recommend them and cannot recommend them highly enough to you.

My washing machine stopped working after producing a bang and a burning smell. I asked White Eagle Repair to see if they could repair it. They came, as agreed, two days later, and decided the motor was burnt out and needed replacing. They returned with a spare motor a week later (having checked that I was willing to pay for it), but discovered that it still didn't work as the the main control board was damaged. As this would be very expensive, they recommended buying a new washing machine. So after two visits and one spare motor, they honoured their guarantee -- no fix, no fee.
I was very impressed with their service, and would have no hestitation in recommending them.

Got in touch with White Eagle on Monday and was seen the very next day. Absolutely fantastic service from Marek. He was able to identify the problem quickly and offer solutions there and then. I was worried that a repair would end up costing about the same as a new machine and was very pleasantly surprised to find the issue going be fixed for much less! Great services, good value for money, and very competitive. I called another washing machine repair company before Marek and they weren’t friendly or helpful, just barked their call out fee at me.

My washing machine's pump was blocked as it's error code had confirmed.
I contacted White Eagle yesterday (28th) and they contacted me back later in the day to confirm my appointment for today (29th) between 12 noon and 2pm.
The engineer arrived 10 minutes ahead of schedule and within 30 minutes he had the pump un-blocked. In addition, he also gave me some helpful advice on preventing further blockages as a "clean through product" I had been using for years was not the correct product! Apart from getting rid of the gunge, there were no puddles or lakes of water to mop and I was only charged for the call-out as no new parts were needed.
As I do not know any washing machine engineer personally, I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone and he would be my first choice if I block the pump again!

I found about White Eagle Repair. I contacted them and they came next morning repaired it. Best service in Edinburgh in my opinion. Also prices are really good too. Not expensive.
