Guttering replaced and painted. Good job, neat and tidy - very pleased

Replacement of quite a few roof tiles, repair and repainting of attic window frame. The closest I can get to examine the work is by ladder at edge of roof, but all looks good from there and everything seems watertight.

Slate and cement skew repairs to a tenement roof, followed by replacement of a damaged top-floor ceiling with a new plasterboard and skim coat ceiling.

High quality workmanship. Carefully protected the kitchen fittings that were left in the room. No collateral damage to my flat. Cleared up well after an inevitably filthy job.

I needed to have a skylight in my loft replaced with a velux window urgently to enable insulation to be installed. I chose W A Ritchie because of the reviews given to him as a trusted trader. Mr Ritchie and his workmate completed the job within a short time of my request making a superb job and left the loft the cleanest it had ever been. Another roofer working on a neighbour's property was very impressed at how the work was done. I would have no hesitation in using Mr Ritchie again or recommending him to others.

We needed work on our chimney. Harling had been dislodged though storm damage and gradual wear and tear. Bill Ritchie responded to our call quickly. In addition, as he had a gap between jobs, he got the work done quickly and efficiently within 2 weeks. The result was very neat, very difficult to see the difference between the new harling on the chimney and older harling on the wall below.

Work to replace missing and broken slates on roof and to re-render small cement verge to flat roof area. Work completed to high standard with full explanation given of what was being carried out. Very happy with work and would use them again.

Kitchen ceiling taken down and reinstated. All relevant areas covered and sealed off to restrict dust. Excellent professional and efficient service. First class communication from start to finish.
