I've used practical van hire a couple of times now. Each time the service has been good and easy to use. The vans are clean, modern and easy to drive. Rates seem better than rival companies as well. Overall I'd recommend using this service.

Practical Edinburgh offers an excellent range of car&van hire options at very reasonable prices. The customer service was impeccable and extremely friendly and approachable and there was no attempts to have the customer purchase items that were unnecessary. I've used this rental firm 3 times now and are my first port of call whenever I need to rent a van.

I recently had the pleasure of hiring a car from Practical Car and Van Rental,something I hadn't done before and was a little apprehensive of what it involved but I was surprised at how easy it was. Ross made everything clear and talked me through every step, I will definitely be back next time I need to hire a car.

We rented a van three times with Ross already and every time the process is easy, fast, professional and extremely friendly. The vans are incredibly clean and in brilliant condition. We are returning customers and although we live in Dalkeith, we rather drive a bit longer and get one of Ross’ vans. Thanks :)

I hired a van from Practical to move between storage units.
The whole process was easy and it was great value for money compared to others in the area.
Ross was also incredibly helpful, even responding to a desperate request late at night to delay the vehicle return.
