MGF Roofing repaired a line of coping stones with a coping cap, a cover that fitted over the whole run of stones. This point is a weak point in the roof, and caused me problems over decades -- each repair I had done lessened the problem for a short time, but then it just returned. The cap was fitted just before the very wet and stormy winter of 2015-16 and, for the first time since I moved into the house almost 40 years before, I had no leaks. I am, of course, delighted. I found MGF Roofing very good to deal with, and I'd be very glad to recommend them.

Essential common stair repairs to roof required including lead dormer window repairs, vent extraction replacement and repair of a number of other vents, rear elevation repair, lead repair to low wall running along roof. Quote was competitive, completion price as per estimate, and additional work added with no extra charge. Inspection, work, and communication was professional and highly recommended. Photos before and after work provided. I will definitely contact MGF Roofing for any further work required. They did not quote any work not required and delivered an excellent service.

We choose the company because they are a roofing service that uses ropes instead of scaffolding which was much more cost effective for our Victorian tenement. Communication with the firm was excellent and I would recommend to other flat owners and will definitely use them again if needed.

Excellent job by the MGF team completely re-roofing a flat portion of roof and upgrading and repairing pitched roofing and guttering on a conservation property in East Lothian. A skylight conforming to conservation standards was also installed.
As the guys are proficient climbers, this meant no scaffolding was required.

They gave very good and professional advice before they started the job, which I hadn't considered. Carreid out good professional workmanship and cleaned up afterwords.

An efficient, reliable and effective firm, who delivered a new (and importantly weather proof) flat roof, overhauled the pitched roof and installed new skylights to comply with planning regulations in a conservation area. The team are proficient climbers, which will significantly reduce costs.

Genuine hard working guys with an eye for neatness, quality of work was to a very high standard. Could not fault their workmanship. Not the cheapest out there but you get what you pay for with no short cuts or shabby work and very tidy. Would definitely use them again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
