JDS carried out a 25% crown reduction of a large sycamore tree. They did a careful and well planned job and left everything tidy. Now that the tree is in leaf we can see the huge improvement their work has made to the appearance of the tree.

JDS Trees carried out two jobs for me. Firstly they removed a very large tree and overgrown bushes from my back garden. They then replaced two old fences with new ones in keeping with the existing fences in the area. The work was carried out expertly and professionally and the men tidied up the area afterwards. There was only one small problem in that the tree stump was bigger than expected and could not be removed with the equipment they had. However the tree surgeon came back a couple of days later and removed the stump with a bigger machine. Very pleased with the final result.

Used JDS to remove four old trees and cut back two others as well as to move flowers to another part of he garden to make way for the installation of a driveway. The guys were extremely professional and maintained good communications. They wprked flat out and did an excellent job. Very good value for money and I would highly recommend JDS.

Large hedge and row of conifers lowered substantially as well as having the facias trimmed back. A young sapling growing up through a conifer was also removed. The men were very friendly and obliging. They cleared up afterwards and took the cuttings away.

We used JDS gardening services for the first time this year. We have tall Cupressus hedges between two and a half and four metres high at the front and back of the house and several trees such as a Rowan, Japanese Acer, Cherry, and free standing Cupressus. The hedges and trees were seriously in need of trimming. We asked JDS for a quote and were immediately impressed with the professional and pleasant way in which an assessment was arranged and carried out. Itemised costings were given for each element of the planned work. It was easy to contact them with queries and they were helpful and knowledgeable about all aspects of the job. The only minor difficulty we had was a small delay in getting started because of problems they had with a key piece of their equipment. The work was carried out by a team of friendly and well equipped gardeners, to a high standard and after discussion to ensure the work would match our expectations. All waste material was taken away and the garden left tidy. We were well pleased with the outcome at what we believe was a fair and competitive price.

JDS removed 2 trees from our garden. The job was complicated as a phone line ran through the branches of one of the trees. We received a clear quote after a site visit and on accepting the quote a date was booked. The work was done to a very high standard; we were not actually at home when the team visited but we have had tree surgery done before and generally expect some mess afterwards (sawdust on the ground, damage to the surroundings where parts of the tree are felled). With JDS, the only visible sign after they had finished were the 2 stumps. Excellent quality work!

Large tree removed in front garden. Received excellent advice and very competitive price. Service was delivered on schedule by a super team of tree surgeons. Went out of their way to help and left our garden as originally found.
