Changed the light fitting in our hallway and fixed a few issues with the wiring, modifying the circuits so they were no longer a fire hazard.

Fraser carried out a full rewire of my flat, including:

- new consumer unit
- wall lights
- ceiling pendants in lath and plaster (involved raggling behind old cornicing while preserving the cornicing)
- replacement of socket circuits (inc pulling up floors)
- full kitchen rewire inc wiring high amp range cooker
- installing new sockets, switches, light fixtures and down lights throughout, as well as a bathroom fan and electronic mirror.

Fraser’s work is of a very high professional standard and I’d happily recommend him.

Installing new smoke detector system throughout house, installing new cooker hood in kitchen, removing redundant timer switches.

Courteous and prompt response to requests and turned up at times arranged.

Work was to Install 1 x Brand New Double Socket in hallway, Renew 1 x Single Socket into Double Socket in a bedroom and replace a faulty Double Socket in Kitchen.

The Price received to complete these tasks was indeed the best out of at least another 4 Electricians.

I was more than happy to go with Fraser Oliver and so pleased I did...to install the new double socket in hallway, carpet and floorboards had to be lifted.

To run wire under floorboards was never a problem with Fraser and after completing all work, you would never had known he had been here.

Fraser and his Apprentice was friendly throughout, cleaned up on completion, asked me to inspect work before departing and confirmed that I could rely upon him for any future work.

I want all to know that you should not look past Fraser, his own little Family Company, lots of experience and takes great care and attention to jobs at hand, always polite and will certainly be my first call in the future should I need an Electrician. Well done Fraser.

I have used Fraser Oliver a few times this year, including for a full electrical check, and had very quick responses, and great work done each time. Fraser came round to view the work and was both polite and offered practical solutions, pointing out issues and how he would tackle them. Work included installing lights, switch boxes and identifying issues and fixing them with other electrical items. Quote received within 24 hours and work completed within 7 days to a good standard. Fraser came to look at a continuing fault in our flat which was causing the RCD to trip. It was an involved job, testing each part of the circuit. He had to come back a few times, but found the problem and fixed it for a reasonable price. Very happy with the service.

Fraser was very quick to book my tenants in when the oven and electric shower broke and resolved the problems quickly. The staff were very friendly on the phone and Fraser fed back to me by email after the two visits what his findings were and how he intended to fix it.

The guys turned up when they said they would and got on with the job straight away.
Everything they did was done to a high standard and afterwards they went through what had been done and how it all worked with me.

Was looking for a variety of electrical work including replacement/installation of external lighting. Due to new Scottish Government Legislation I needed my smoke alarms replaced.
Fraser replied to my email the same day and after describing my house setup he came back with a quote soon after. I wanted radio frequency alarms and I needed a Remote Controller as my ceilings are too high to reach for testing and I didn't want to use an app on my phone. He added this onto my quote. We arranged a day and time and he arrived promptly. Fraser was very pleasant and chatty, he did the job with no mess as alarms were in the same place as my battery operated ones. Very pleased with the service and would definitely recommend.

I’ve used Fraser for a wide range of work from underfloor heating and whirlpool bath Installation to commercial type installations for my garage car lift and everything in between. He comes when he says he will, does what he says he will and invoices what he says it’ll cost. I use him for my rental properties because he understands the concerns and needs of landlords - which is total safety and compliance with standards.

I’ve never had to call him back to resolve any arising issues. It’s always been done right first time.

Fraser did the electrical work for my central heating at home - the main contractor said I should expect a lot of disruption for running cables. Fraser came in and ran everything without having to lift carpets or cut holes in walls / ceiling. His work was quick, tidy and well labelled.
