We needed very old window sills and frames replaced, and very awkward arched windows replaced as well. Neil and his Dad were very polite, friendly and skilled. They weren’t afraid to take on a difficult big job and stuck with it, even with a few annoying major hitches along the way.

Neil is fantastic. He is reliable and completes each job he has done for us to a very high standard. We moved into our flat last May and Neil was there most days laying the floors and sorting wardrobes and cabinets for us. He recently came to our rescue after our dog (yes, that’s right) locked us out. He replaced it with a new door and looks better than ever. Thanks so much! Highly recommend :)

Neil did a fantastic job refurbishing our kitchen. From the beginning to the end of the job Neil was brilliant to deal with, he kept us up to date at every stage and if a problem arose he always offered a solution. I highly recommend Neil who did a beautiful job undertaking some work on my kitchen. From the outset communication was great, and the work completed to a very high standard and left clean and tidy afterwards. If I ever require any additional joinery work I would definitely approach Neil for the job.

Fantastic service from Neil. He fitted 3 new internal doors, replaced a sliding glass door with a new 'normal' door, lowered our porch floor level and sorted our squeaky hall floor. Neil kept to timescales and did a great job. Would highly recommend.

I was extremely pleased working with Neil. He helped organise and execute an entire renovation of our flat whilst we were away.
His joinery work was to the highest standard and his network of contacts meant he was able to bring in some other great contractors for the various other jobs. He held on to a set of keys for us and coordinated with everyone to make sure the work was done on time and to budget.
What's more, he's a really great local guy from Edinburgh!

Neil did a fantastic job completely refurbishing our built in cupboard to a very high standard. He also put a wall for us to make a third bedroom (again this was done to a very high standard. With previous joiners we have been left waiting weeks for them to get back to us and have been let down in the past, this is certainly NOT the case with Neil! Whenever Neil said he would be here he was and whatever he said he was going to do he did. Very pleased with Neil’s work and would definitely recommend him and use his trade in the future

Neil did a fantastic job installing our new kitchen - he had to battle wonky old walls and ended up having to take the ceiling down, but he kept smiling even when covered head to toe in black soot! He has a really good work ethic, working late most nights to get the job done and was always striving to get the highest standard of finish. Neil was always very open and honest in keeping us updated on progress and good in explaining what was going on. Would definitely recommend him and will hopefully be working with him again.

We were under pressure to have our job done due to being let down by numerous joiners. Neil and Rob arrived quickly to price the job and gave us great advice and ideas we hadn"t thought of. We received a very reasonable quote. Rob and Neil arrived each day when they said they would and worked more than full days to complete the job. The quality of materials and the finished job was excellent. All debris was removed and everything was left clean and tidy. We are delighted with the finished work which was to convert a stair bulkhead into storage, (a wardrobe with hanging space and stepped shelving) to lay flooring, replace skirtings and make and hang wardrobe doors. They were generous in their advice and we can't recommend Elphinstone Joinery more highly and have no hesitation in recommending their work. Will definitely use again.
