We selected Damp Doctors to address damage in both the kitchen but principally in the lounge area from water leakage that had occurred from the washing machine installed on the kitchen side of the wall shared with the lounge.

Dale was our primary contact with Damp Doctors. We found him to be highly professional and knowledgeable. He was keen to explore comprehensively what was required in terms of the finished project, whilst we obviously left him to plan and carry out the work required. Damp Doctors were exemplary in their punctuality throughout the project.

The Company was shorthanded prior to Christmas and this resulted in Dale working on site for some time whilst the works were undertaken. Andrew and Connor were very willing workers which combined with Dale's close scrutiny resulted in an extremely satisfactory finish.

Work done was to solve a damp problem in a kitchen/dining room wall. The work was very quickly done after accepting the good estimate was received by Connor and his assistant for the damp proof work and chatty Charlie for the resplastering work. All work done well. Connor also went beyond the call of duty by pressure hosing the steps to our basement while he waited for a lift. He proactively oferred to do this - we did not ask!

We had insulation added to the inner bedrooms gabel end wall to reduce cold walls in bedrooms and also repair to roof at chimney line as water getting in through broken seals. Dale and his team are excellent friendly and efficient in everything they do! Explained all the work and took photos of work done on roof so we could see what was one. Time keeping and communication excellent. Not pushy when visited to give a quote and even suggested a better way to treat property. They are also very clean workers.

We had dreadful wet damage in our home spreading to hall cupboard and into kitchen area due to last and this years adverse weather. Dale the surveyor was fantastic and outlined the damage in a way that made it easy to understand. We felt at ease from the very initial contact. Quote arrived which was great value given the amount of work required. Connor and Mark were appointed to carry out the works and again were just amazing. Professional, friendly and skilled. They went over and above for us and left our home by cleaning up debris and making sure all tasks required to be done were finished within timescale required. We couldnt be happier. We are always cautious having work done however with Damp Doctors were have found the perfect company so much so we are using them again for further works.

Damp Doctors Ltd. quoted competitively, did the work on time and to a very high standard at my vulnerable sister’s flat. They went above and beyond though: when there were power cuts, coming back when the power came back without charging more; when my sister said she was cold, leaving a heater with her for a few days; when they discovered more damp after doing some not so invasive excavations, they lifted and replaced the entire bathroom floor for free, including linoleum, and all the extra damp treatment, at no extra charge! When I expressed my gratitude to Dale, it was only then I learned how nice his team had been to my sister, and how kind he had been to me, by not charging me for all the work. I wholeheartedly recommend Damp Doctors Ltd. Aside from being specialists who know how to diagnose and resolve damp and its causes, aside from being fair in their quotes and high standards in their workmanship, they are ethical, moral and kind people, wanting to do well by others. I cannot recommend this company more highly.

We are a spiritualist church. Our entire basement area was stripped back and treated. It has now been turned into galleries, healing rooms and tearoom. Excellent work.

Repairs to garage due to rising damp. Damp-proof membrane applied to interior wall, and rotting support timber replaced. Also sprayed timbers affected by woodworm.

Dale came out to view the garage shortly after being contacted, and provided an estimate soon afterwards. The work was scheduled and completed not long after that. Very happy with the speed of service and the work carried out. Wouldn't hesitate to use again.

Dale and his team converted a damp and leaky garage into a much more comfortable room in the house, they did so for a reasonable price and in a timely manner. They have also been very responsive to any questions or concerns I had along the way and I would highly recommend them.

Damp Doctors replaced the silicon seal on shower, cleaned tiles and grout and treated and painted the shower ceiling to protect against mould. The service was efficient and pleasant from start to finish. The guys made a great job. The shower looks brand new and they left everything very nice and tidy.

Very professional and a high quailty of work, stripping back some rising damp, sealing, and reinstating plaster over some wide areas with some difficult knooks and crannies. Good communication with Dale arranging the job, and a fast, courteous, and tidy service from Connor and crew.

Very pleased with the damp protection work completed by the team. Also pleased that one of the team was a Military Veteran, great decision by Damp Doctor to give a member of the Armed Forces Community an opportunity in their organisation.
