I rang with a heating emergency, as the condensing pipe from my boiler was blocked, causing water to back up and extinguish the flame, that resulted in no heating; a pressing problem due to my wife being 4 days overdue with our second child.

Even though they were busy, they managed to have one of their team at my door within 30 minutes, and 30 minutes later the problem was fixed. With the heating sorted our baby girl turned up the next day!

We had wet wall, shower tray and new shower cubicle installed.

The staff came at the appointed time each day, worked with due diligence and professionalism and carried out an immaculate installation, worthy of a 5* hotel.

They cleaned everything as they went, very polite, were very smartly turned out and in the company liveried vehicle.

They were not the cheapest quote but having looked at the work done, the other companies would have been rushed to carry out the same installation in the period they anticipated. The quote was accurate to reflect the amounted time to do the job properly and well. Thank you, we are very happy.

Cullen were really good and we highly recommend. We had 8 quotes for the work and Cullen stood out as knowledgeable and professional. From all 8 companies, the quotes ranged from £4k to £14k (for the same work!) and Cullen were bang in the middle (a good sign - realistic about the work, not promising too much for the money, and not overcharging). Cullen did a great job, were very professional throughout and made sure that everythign was perfect before finishing up.

We had a new combi boiler and a radiator fitter. Jake Cullen explained everything very clearly and answered all our questions, and his plumber did a really good job. When problems cropped up, they dealt with them quickly and efficiently. I would definitely use their services again.

I've happily used Cullen Plumbing for a number of years, most recently for a boiler and radiator replacement. Jake and his team always carry out work to the highest standards, explain any issues and provides solutions, are always on time, clear up after the job and are a pleasure to have in the house. I'd highly recommend them.

We had a problem with a kitchen tap. Cullen sent a plumber (sorry, I didn't catch his name). He came on time, fixed the problem speedily and without fuss, and left the kitchen clean and tidy. He also renewed the sealing behind the sink, even though we hadn't originally asked for this.

I'd also like to commend the lady who took our original phone call. She clearly understood our problem, and re-assured us that they could help - unlike another firm I had tried earlier who were much less helpful. I also like the fact that Cullen's invoice came the next day (I don't like owing money for long periods) and that they were quite happy to accept a cheque (not everyone finds it convenient to do electronic payments).

All in all, this was very good service. We will definitely use them again.

Our heated towel rail had been out of action for over a year (plus a couple of other things needed fixing in the house) and we'd been let down by two other plumbers, so I thought I'd give Cullen Plumbing & Heating a call. They were very efficient on the phone and booked me in at a convenient time. The heating engineer (Tom) arrived promptly and got on with the work. Once he had established what needed done, I ordered the parts online and picked them up while he prepped. This saved him going out to get the parts (and me paying for his time!) and meant that he was done in just over 2 hours. Unlike some traders, Cullen charge by the half-hour (and not the hour). Yes, I was charged for 2.5 hours for 2h10m of work BUT that's better than being charged for THREE hours (at a higher rate!). I was very happy with the service (plus he did a couple of other little jobs) and Tom was only happy to leave once he was sure that everything was sorted - he explained that he really liked these 'little' jobs (some companies only go for bigger jobs and installations). I was invoiced the following day which was refreshing - sometimes you can be left waiting for a while.
All in all, I was extremely happy with Cullen Plumbing & Heating and would recommend them highly.

Replacing electric shower which was done to very high standard - quickly and efficiently. Very impressed and satisfied customer.

Job: Wet wall boards fitted in shower and a new replacement shower enclosure fitted. What a professional job and a great plumber. I rarely write reviews but I had to praise the plumber who did this job. Nothing was too much trouble and he even gave me options on heights and finish whilst doing the job. A very pleasant plumber to deal with. First class.

We used Cullen Plumbing for a boiler service and also about a year later for installing radiators. They have been great with us - they arrived on time every time, replied to all emails promptly, gave helpful advice, were polite and tidy and generally did a good job for us. The price was also fair for the work done. Our experience has been positive and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them (and have!).

The work to replace a leaking WC with a combined vanity unit was organised by e-mail and text from Spain for our friend whose health is not good. It could not have been completed more quickly and considerately - and at a good price. We´re all so pleased.

Radiator moved across to a different wall, requiring pipes to be redirected up and around a doorframe and the old radiator removed. I had a visit from Jake Cullen beforehand who advised me on best options. Very professional and quick to answer emails.

The team were booked in within a week and arrived on time - the radiator they had bought had a couple of very small dents on it which were almost unnoticable. The team identified them and rectified it quickly - replacing the sides with new parts. Very efficient and clearly very high standards of work.

I found this company online, emailed to see if they could come on my day off which was just a week in advance, Grant was great, he let me know what time to expect him and came within that time. He did a great thorough job and explained to me what needed done and why. I would definitely recommend his services again and will be using them for a yearly service.

Reported a problem with a blocked/overflowing outside water trap on Tues. 23rd April . Cullen's men came on Wed 24th early afternoon, and work done.
Early days yet but initial impressions very good. If work holds would use again and recommend.

We didn't use the trusted trader scheme to find Cullen's but got name from a family member who recommended them.

We requested a quote for some work and their representative turned up on time and we discussed the work needing done. We accepted the quote given and the work was booked in on a date to suit us. The work was carried out when planned and if it wasn't for the new radiators and new kitchen tap you would never have known the guys were here. Both members of staff were polite and friendly and worked hard to get the job done and did an excellent job of tidying up when they were finished. We would not hesitate to recommend them and will use them again for any future plumbing work.

I had a boiler replaced as the old one was beyond repair. Entire process was explained clearly including the reasons for and costs involved in the replacement. The engineer arrived promptly on the date scheduled and was polite, informative and professional. He was also very tidy and at the end of the job explained thoroughly how to control the new boiler. I am very happy with the service provided and would definitely recommend Cullen Plumbing.

Excellent engineers who worked efficiently and made the boiler installation go as smoothly as it possibly could have. The room was left spotless and the old boilers were disposed off. Very pleasant engineers to have in the house.
