This job was to replace a cistern located behind tiles that had no access hatch. CGS did an excellent job- cut out the tiles- replaced the cistern and built a new shelf and constructed a removable access panel. This was a very tidy job and actually looks better than the original work. The workers concerned were polite and friendly and helpful with questions that I asked them. They got on with the job efficiently and cleaned up and took the rubbish away with them. All in all we are very satisfied with the work done and the price was very reasonable. Thanks

I had a new combi boiler installed. I liked their "can do" attitude. I will use them again and would recommend them. I would say the prices they charge are fair.

We have used CGS to service our boilers for years and have found them to be very efficient and excellent to deal with. They recently replaced two old radiators in a room that we were changing with modern ones that involved changing pipe work under the floor and we are very pleased with the work done. They also stepped in at short notice in December when my daughters boiler in her flat packed up and was condemned. Put new boiler to a new location where it should have been in the first place. Got a handyman in to patch ceiling where new pipe work was run. All completed within 9 days of first being notified of a problem - and in December! First class company and i would highly recommend.

We've used Corstorphine Gas Services to replace a number of old boilers at rental properties and also to provide ongoing maintenance, annual testing/servicing and advice.
Moving our portfolio over from British Gas was the best move I've made as I've found Corstorphine Gas to be responsive, co-operative and very professional.

After major work on our boiler last year, this time it was a more minor replacing of a zone valve. We had the same prompt, friendly and personal service, from both the office and the engineers. A pleasure to deal with.

Boiler serviced and Hive Appliance supplied and fitted. Pleasant and friendly Tradesman turned up when expected. Went over all he had done and gave clear instructions of the product supplied.

We had a boiler disaster 13th December, got in touch with CGS on the 16th, we had a new boiler by the 20th, and that was over a weekend too. Absolutely first class customer service, really felt like we were dealing with sympathetic, sensible people. All very professional and speedy, as well as courteous So much so we took them all thank you gifts later that week. Changing our service contract to them just as soon as we can. Would highly highly recommend CGS. They get it done, nicely, and properly, quickly.

We recently moved our kitchen into a new room and Corstophine Gas Services installed new plumbing and drainage along with the removal of some old radiators and installing a new vertical radiator. The service was fantastic, Lewis came out to look at the job and we received a quote the same day. The plumbers who completed the work we’re great and kept us upto date with progress.

Boiler broken in a very cold spell, and it seemed I might have to pay £500 for a part to repair it, so I decided on a new boiler. Got company name from a previous customer on Facebook. The man who visited initially measured very carefully and talked me through the options, and warned me that I might need to lose some kitchen space. However, they offered to give me an emergency appointment which would mean Id have a warm house for Christmas. I was kept informed all the way though, the boiler was fitted in a day and replaced like for like so that my kitchen cabinets were the same and there was no need for outside work, and they tidied up and were away by 4.50. Heating is now working well. I didnt get a comparison estimate, as the timing was really the important thing, but I dont think I was overcharged. Did what it said on the tin!

Excellent service, new radiator fitted, with boiler drained and refilled, the office manager kept me updated as to when the fitters would arrive to carry out the work, when the fitters turned up on time, were polite, worked hard and kept everything clean and tidy as they worked. A very good reliable company who I have used on a number of occasions always with the same results.

Called over new year and they accommodated my request. Great communication from start to finish. Engineer turned up exactly when he said and fixed issue all for a very reasonable cost. No hesitation in recommending the company. I will be using them from now on.

I’m a returning customer, having used CGS for an external tap fit previously.

Appointment was booked for within the week (right after the festive break). Shawn popped in and had the house heating up and running within the hour. Fantastic service and lovely guy!

I was impressed and grateful by how quickly Corstorphine Gas Services responded to my problems with my central heating system at what must have been an exceptionally busy time for them immediately following the Christmas and New Year holidays. The work was completed very professionally and and in a tidy manner. Cannot praise the workmen enough.
