Brunon and his team installed a new kitchen for me. They did a very nice job of it and I'm pleased with the result. They did make a couple of mistakes on the final invoice but they were were prompt to correct them when I pointed them out. They were also very helpful with advice on the process.

Lathe and plaster ceiling brought down and a new ceiling installed, whilst preserving the original cornicing and centre rose.

Brunon and his team completed the work to what I thought was a very high standard. I had been worried about the amount of dust that would be generated by bringing the old plaster down but amazingly very little escaped into the adjacent hall. They used a large extractor fan to take the dust out of my window and also used a plastic seal on the door and together these obviously worked really well.

Brunon kept me up to date with detailed daily emails describing the teams progress. And on the first day when he was caught in heavy traffic caused by the trains being cancelled following a storm he phoned twice to give me updates on his eta.

I also had a condemned gas fire in my lounge and the team removed this for me, plastered the resulting hole and installed an air vent. All for no extra charge.

All in all I was very impressed with the professionalism and quality of workmanship of Brunon and his team and would not hesitate to use him again in the future.

We hired Brunon Rogowski Ltd to build a large bespoke bookcase in our living room, cupboard shelving and repair four outside window sills. From the first enquiry and consultation, to the work being carried out and the finished product we were very happy with Brunon and his team did. We would definitely use them again.

We had Alex out for a relatively small job of putting up a new stair handrail and a 2m long shelf in our living room. He was punctual, great at communicating what he was going to do next and asking us what we wanted. He kept the place tidy throughout, working outside when doing the dusty parts of the job and he especially handled a couple of unexpected problems really well. Happy to recommend them to friends and would definitely get work done again by them.

Another tradesman installed a new boiler for us and damaged a pipe which caused a leak from our flat through our floor into the flat below. We asked Brunon to come out and inspect any damage that had happened to our place.

He arrived right on time, looked around the problem area and concluded that we wouldn't need any repairs done - because of the type of flooring and the style of house he saw that all leaked water would have drained through our floor and into the downstairs flat. So everything would have drained away and not caused any damage that would need fixing. Good news!

I expected that he would charge us the quoted fee for the first hour of his call-out which was £90. I asked him how I should pay him and he said that he didn't feel that we owed him anything because he hadn't done anything (other than giving us very helpful professional advice), so we didn't need to pay him anything.

He was really fair to us, very helpful, and very likeable. He'll certainly be the first guy I contact for any further work we need done in our house in the future.

We had some shelves installed and a large mirror hung, and Brunon Rogowski Ltd was wonderful to work with. Always showed up when they said they would, were very clear about what they would do, and installed some of the most secure and robust shelving I've ever seen. I would very highly recommend them to anyone needing work done.

Replacement of old timber deck with new composite deck. This included the removal of the old structure & construction of a new one as well as a new timber balustrade.

Brunon and his team were on time every day. The site was always left tidy overnight and Brunon was always happy to chat and explain what they were doing. As well as the team on site the team in the office were also very helpful at keeping us updated with start dates, discussing material choices and dealing with payment.

We are very happy with the results, the new deck feels very solid and looks great. We would certainly use Brunon again and would highly recommend his services.

Our lounge and hall were in dire need of renovation. Brunon, Alex and the team completed a full refurb - including:

* completely stripping both rooms
* Filling in our old fireplace
* replastering the walls and ceilings
* fitting new architraves and skirting
* building and installing new cabinets in alcoves
* co-ordinating all the electrical and lighting work
* painting the walls, ceilings, doors & woodwork

Did a beautiful job of tiling my small kitchen this year. All communication with the office before and after the job was very efficient and organised. Aleks, who did the tiling work, was prompt, conscientious and precise, and found good solutions for things like trickier corners. I really appreciated his attention to detail and professionalism. After a few years putting up with deteriorating, poorly installed decking at the back of our flat we decided to have it replaced with sandstone paving. Brunon and Conrad did a great job. They’re communicative, professional, tidy and attentive and a genuine pleasure to have around. The work was completed to a very high standard, to the original quote and schedule, and went very smoothly considering how tricky it can be to access the back of an Edinburgh tenement for jobs like this. They even fixed a broken doorknob on the shared back door, something I hadn’t got around to doing myself. Cheers! Brunon Rogowski executed the full restoration and refurbishment of this Victorian flat in Edinburgh, for one of our clients. Plumbing, heating and electric services were replaced, walls were replastered and decorated and floors sanded. The existing kitchen and bathroom were entirely renewed and a new en-suite shower room and dressing area were created for the master bedroom. The project ran very smoothly and the final result was perfectly delivered. Brunon and his staff are a pleasure to work with; professional, proactive and caring. I will without hesitation recommend them to my future clients.

We chose Brunon to carry out our building work through Trusted Trader and were not disappointed.

The project consisted of digging up existing concrete patio and laying new slabs. They crushed the old concrete and used as part of the base for the new patio. Renewing roughcasting on garden walls, creating step at back door and ledge at patio doors. Relaying uneven slabs around the house. Removal of existing path and steps at the front of the house and creating new steps and path. They also carried out various maintenance building works. Brunon and Conrad carried out the majority of the building work supported by Alex. They were extremely hard working and kept us informed of progress and consulted us if any adjustments needed to be made. They left the site tidy at the end of each day. If the weather was inclement, Brunon or Anna would text early in the morning to let us know they would not be on site. They were pleasant and respectful and considered the impact of the work on our neighbours. We are very pleased with the completed works and would not hesitate in recommending them.

We had some custom bench seating built with storage. The finished seats were excellent, to a really high standard and exactly what we asked for. Robert was great; friendly and professional and finished the job quickly and efficiently, would highly recommend!

Excellent work delivered with minimum of disruption. The storage units were built off site and delivered fitted and painted. The externally sourced wine racks needed a bit of adjustment. Throughout all of the project Brunon and his team were completely professional and a pleasure to work with.

Bruno and his amazing team completely refitted the basement of the Tailors shop which had been damaged by flooding. They put new wall surfaces in, painted them and installed lots of useful shelving. Their work was neat and of the highest standard. They were punctual, hard-working and always tidied up after themselves at the end of the day. We all said how nice it was to have them working in the shop, and none of us would hesitate to use their services again, either here at work, or in our own homes.

Brunon and the guys prepared and laid flooring in our kitchen and once again made a fantastic job of it - 3rd job in the last couple of years. I had 2 sets of very steep, unsafe steps to my back garden from decking outside my kitchen door. Brunon and Alex designed safer stairs, and the team installed them very quickly and efficiently. At all times they were hardworking, friendly and respectful. At the end of each day everything was tidied away and the route from front to back door was vacuumed each evening. I have already recommended them to a friend who needs work done on her decking.

We have a 2 bedroom flat in Edinburgh, that after being let for 10 years, required a lot of work. On top of that - we had a considerable issue with 'smokers drift' - tobacco smoke drifting through the old floorboards and other gaps around piping etc. from the flat below that made the flat unsuitable for our young son to stay in. We had a redundant gas fire that needed to be removed - along with the fireplace. A new kitchen needed to be fitted. This was a huge job.

Brunon and his team ripped back everything - the floorboards were removed throughout the entire flat, new floorboards down along with a membrane to stop the smoke, all gaps sealed where possible, and new flooring laid throughout. The plaster in the living room was coming away from the walls - so the that was made sound and re-plastered along with the ceiling. Old kitchen was pulled out and a new one fitted. New radiators and heating pipes fitted throughout. And finally the flat was decorated throughout. It's been done to a really high standard and I'm delighted with the work - Brunon ensured we were satisfied with what had been done and checked in several times after the work finished to make sure there were no outstanding 'niggles'.

Brunon and his team were great to work with - this was a huge job and quite stressful for us, particularly as we weren't in Edinburgh to oversee the work. Brunon kept infrequent contact - updating us with photos and letting us know what he needed from us to keep on track. One of the major benefits we found in working with Brunon was Anna. I've had the experience in the past where I've left endless messages with tradies and no one gets back to you, or does days later (usually when you're in a meeting at work). Having the ability to chat to someone on the phone to find out information when it suits you while knowing you aren't disturbing the work was great. Anna really helped to reassure us that everything we were concerned about would be taken care of, and in a timely manner. This was a great benefit of using this team.

We required a complete renovation in the kitchen and bathroom including new flooring fitted throughout as well as the hallway. We had several companies come round and they moaned about removing the cast iron bathtub and the water tank saying they were too heavy and difficult to remove. Brunon and his team tackled all the heavy lifting parts of the job in a remarkably short time and then worked diligently in ensuring all the finishings were correct leaving us with a brand new home that was on time and on budget.

We have a 1960's flat that was looking very tired. Brunon and the team went through the whole flat (except for the kitchen and bathroom which we had done last year) and massively upgraded the feel of the place. It now looks and feels so much better.

The specific things they did were;
* Replace all of the laminate flooring with LVT vinyl tiles. They made this flow through the flat so that there are no joins in the doorways and it looks fantastic.
*Replace all of the skirting boards
* Replace all of the internal doors with solid core oak doors including replacing the door surround
*Installed a pocket door for the kitchen which has given us back loads of space in the kitchen
* Move a radiator and conceal other heating pipework in the walls
* Move electrical sockets
* Tidy up the walls- remove wall paper; fill in socket blanks from when the flat was rewired years ago, sink some cables into the wall that had been in surface trunking, plasterboard over some parts to provide a smooth finish
* Repaint throughout - walls and ceilings and all woodwork
* Wallpapered a single wall in each room
* Hung a curtain rail and coat hooks etc

There were challenges due to Covid which impacted the time taken versus the expected time (workers got pinged on the app etc) and materials are a nightmare for everyone at the moment. However Brunon kept me informed and we worked together to get through it.

This is the second time we’ve hired Brunon and his team. Again we’re very pleased with the work! In the room they - re-plastered all walls, painted (and followed our design requests!), created bespoke fitted wardrobes, created and finished off all woodwork.

The team always kept in touch about when they would arrive in the mornings. They cleaned up throughly after themselves. And I don’t think I ever saw them stop for a coffee break!

The current job was slabbing the front garden and putting up a shed.

We met Brunon first when our heavy curtains dragged the rail down. He was first person to say he would help in the emergency. Then we had his staff decorate the lounge. Great job. Then his team converted our eleven year old decking to patio.

Perfect job every time

Removal of old decking and installation of composite decking on a 6th floor terrace. The job was complicated by the fact that both old and new materials had to be manhandled through our apartment and up and down 6 sets of stairs. Brunon discussed this with us and reassured us that his team would deal with this. He also took time to go through the possible options we had in replacing the decking depending on what wanted to spend.We ultimately agreed that since we were very specific re colour and pattern of the new deck we would source the decking and Brunon would quote for labour and other materials.The project was carried out in the the agreed timescales and as promised with the minimum disruption. The guys were polite,friendly and incredibly hard working. My wife was particularly impressed by the care they took to avoid any mess in our newly decorated home. We are delighted with the finished deck and without hesitation would use Brunon and his team for other projects.

This is the second time we have had the team in working for us and once more, we are delighted with the result. An old patio was lifted, altered and relaid and our garden wall was repointed. Anna kept us informed every step of the way, was quick to respond to emails and was helpful and charming. Brunon gave us lots of great advice and the boys did a top job. Brunon was asked to replace a front door, which, together with part of the door-frame had been damaged in an attempt burglary. The person needing the work was my vulnerable daughter. I live 400 miles away and am unable to visit, so we both had to rely on Brunon for professional advice as well as skill. He, his Partner Anna and their team could not have been more helpful and the quality of workmanship was excellent. An extra (un-needed!) point was that, mid-job, an interfering outsider made my daughter very anxious about things, causing her great distress. Brunon did what I would have done, if nearer, and patiently calmed her and helped her understand what was really happening. A++ for customer relationship skills! Also, while I thought we would probably need a new Frame, Brunon assured us that this extra expense was not needed. Very grateful for his honesty.

Contacted Brunon who came round, analysed the probable cause and outlined a solution in some detail. The quote for the job seemed fair and we agreed to have the work carried out over the agreed 2 days.

Turned up promptly with a colleague at the appointed hour.

They uplifted the existing chippings, laid 2 tons of hardcore and compacted it before replacing the weed suppressant membrane and relaying the slate. To combat the drainage issue they installed a 5 metre French drain leading away from the area.

They worked hard, safely and very tidily. This was a messy job and they left the site as clean as it was before they started.

We were kept informed of progress at each stage.

This is the second job Brunon has undertaken for us, the first was a small joinery task. We have no hesitation in recommending him and will use him again when required.

Work to repair woodwork on gable end of garage. Helpful discussion at quote time, on time, good work plan, looks great, cleaned up well. Good to have someone make home repairs straightforward.

Brunon and his colleague spent a day with us doing various jobs, including tiling a hearth and fitting a brass curtain rail in a bay window. They worked hard all day and everything was done really well. They worked tidily and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. The price was fair for the work done. One of Brunon's team of workers came on Saturday to cut tree brances into logs for my stove. He was polite and very hard working. He battled on despite wet and windy weather, tidying up after himself and covering the wood at the end of the work. I was most impressed by how conscientious he was. A good job, done well under horrible conditions. I will certainly use Brunon's team again.

Brunon and the boys cleared an invasive vine from our garden, took down our shed, lay a paved area for our new shed and built a fence with lattice and gate. They removed all the debris and left our garden tidy.

They showed an excellent level of professionalism with high standards throughout and were able to adapt plans as required. They were extremely hard working and friendly. The neighbours obviously loved the fence too as they created a post-it note message ‘love the fence’ in their window. I’ve already got plans for them, later in the year!

Brunon is easy to talk to, to agree a price with and set a date for the job. He and his colleague turned up promptly and produced a quality job at a very reasonable price, even when it became evident that more work was required than anticipated, a solution was quickly agreed and implemented. Be aware, because his work is good he is consequently busy, and so setting a date may require a bit of patience on your part, but in my opinion it's worth the wait.

Brunon came recommended by a neighbour who had some landscaping done. We had quite a bit of work to do (slabbing and fence building) but he started soon after we engaged him and I have to say the diligence of his team and the quality of the work they did was outstanding. The attention to detail was really heartening to see - in a couple of instances I had not noticed any issue with a slab but they did and would not finish, nor require full payment until you were completely satisfied with the quality of work and cleanliness of the site.

His team were relentless, no matter the weather, and worked non-stop from early until late each day. No sign of disappearing to other jobs and a very polite, considerate group of guys. Any questions or queries and Brunon was very quick to respond and happy to look at options even mid-job. Very responsive.

I contacted Brunon about a small tiling job but he ended up also doing a plastering/painting job following a roof leak. Both jobs were done in the same day and you would never know he had been there! Everything was cleaned up and looking great when he left.
I have just received the invoice and am more than happy with the price. I will certainly be using Brunon again if I need similar work done.

Brunon replaced several silicone seals in bathroom and kitchen, repaired a curtain track and fixed a toilet flush that somebody else had not managed to install properly. Without instructions, it took him a while to work it out, but it now flushes beautifully. He failed to repair a leaking stopcock because a replacement was needed, but told us where to get the replacement, what exactly was needed and how to do the job. Hope we won't disappoint his confidence in our DIY abilities.
We will definitely ask Brunon again if we need expert help and have already recommended him to friends.

Brunon and his team installed a window seat, restored some side panelling to a bay window, and redid my hallway and bathroom flooring.

When going through the quote he was easy to talk to, understood exactly what I needed for the window seat, and made a number of recommendations on the spot to improve the flooring.

For the bathroom flooring he made recommendations around what type of flooring I should use and communicated this clearly. At the last minute I decided to include hallway flooring and Brunon adjusted the quote and still completed the job within the initial timescales.

Throughout the work he was easy to get in contact with and provided updates. Despite working in a small flat he minimized disruption and tidied up after himself.

Brunon recently carried out some improvement work for me at an outside cellar door. He was not at all phased by the problem and came up with, what appears to be, a very neat and inventive solution. I had recently moved into a property and needed a few jobs done that I could not do myself and needed someone who was skilled and competent to complete them to a good standard and in a timely manner, Brunon achieved all of this in 7 hours work.
The jobs included securing an over the bath glass concertina shower screen into a tiled wall, purchasing and replacing bathroom sink taps, securing a hand towel holder into a tiled wall, assembled and secured an Ikea bathroom cabinet into a tiled wall, disconnecting a plug and aerial point, filling it in and plastering over it and plastering over where a TV wall mount had been removed.

Brunon worked around an installation issue with the shower screen with no hesitation and was clearly competent in using additional materials to do the job.

Brunon hung 6 new interior doors for me. He turned up on time, was courteous and completed the work to a high standard on the day stated, at the price stated. Very happy customer, will hire him again.

Brunon did a few things for us:
Kitchen worktop and new cupboards. Very glad about it, high standard and practical, quick too.
Remove radiator: quick and painless with a freezing machine.

New cupboard for the kitchen: excellent, made to size, every useful. Quick work and to which standard.

Shelving for home office: also very high standard, quick and helpful.

Flooring change to laminate: we just left him the keys and all was done after the holiday.

We needed unexpected remedial joinery work done (cracked stair riser) at very short notice to avoid us cancelling other trades lined up. We were given Brunon's details and got in touch. Despite being very busy on a much larger job, he agreed to visit to assess the requirement. During the visit he understood our urgency and was very accommodating. As it turned out his major work overran on the Friday and he couldn't make the arranged time. Instead he agreed to come early on the Saturday (which caused us no problem at all) and turned up at the appointed time. He worked tidily to complete the work and carried out a short survey of the remaining stairs and risers before leaving. We felt the price charged was a fair reflection of the work carried out and the inconvenience Brunon put himself to on our behalf.

No hesitation in recommending him and if/when needed we have no concerns about using him again.

Remove existing internal wardrobe in 1960 house. Extend and add full length internal wardrobe with sliding doors, shelving lighting, plasterwork, all painted. 100% satisfaction. All done at price quoted and in the time frame. Recommended him already to family and neighbours. Too complicated to send an image but happy for an inspection.
