These guys were excellent. From the moment we made contact with them they stood out from any of their competitors due to their responsive communication, attention to detail, and clear care for us, their customers. Within the week of reaching out to them, we’d had emails, a phone call, a personal visit to view our property and the work we wanted done, a quote, and we had set the date for them to come and do the work. When they showed up to do the work, they kept to their timescale, their team was friendly, communicative and caring, and we felt at all times that they went above and beyond to keep us in the loop, to do the job well, and to clear up after themselves to a high standard. Blaikie tree services provide a very professional service. They turned up exactly on the day as expected and completed the work within the week removing at least 6 trees and installing 14m of heavy duty fence. They gave very good advice and I’m really glad I followed this, as the results were excellent. I highly recommend you use this company as the service they provide is superb.

David and his team did a fantastic job in fully removing two conifer trees for us. Their customer service was outstanding from the initial request for a quote through getting council approval for the tree work to the actual tree removal. Communication and updates were very clear and David replied to my queries promptly. The team arrived promptly on the day and took great care during the tree removal. They even cleaned up after all the waste were chipped and removed leaving the garden and driveway very tidy. It was a joy to see their fantastic team work. I have no hesitation to ask David and his team’s help with any further tree work we may require! Most definitely will recommend them to my family and friends.

Had an out of control silver birch trimmed and shaped. Efficient and friendly service from initial contact to completion of work.

Work to be done was to chop down a tree next to our house, the tree is not on our land. David came out and had a look, went away got all the relevant checks on the land to make sure that the work could be carried out and gave us a quote.
Work that was carried out was exactly what we asked for.

We had a large sycamore tree cut down and other trees trimmed. It was a tricky job with difficult/no garden access and the tree growing close to a boundary wall and also over the neighbours roof and chimneys. David and his team were recommended by two neighbours. David arranged all the planning applications without any delays. The team came early on the day and got on with the job. All the branches and debris were removed leaving the site tidy. We then arranged for David to come back to remove the stump. Again he did a great job fully removing the stump (again close to the wall) to as low to the ground as possible and removing all mess.
We will continue to use David Blaikie’s team in future and would highly recommend them.

David and his team carried out a crown reduction of a large beech tree in our back garden, removing many overhanging branches, including some intruding onto telegraph wires. They were careful not to damage surrounding fences, sheds, tree house. They removed and chipped all waste branches, and left the garden neat and tidy. They were friendly, professional and fast workers. I would not hesitate to recommend them!

Blaikie Tree Services came to reduce the size of two trees in our garden, one large and one medium. They turned up when they said they would turn up, they did what they said they would do, and they were pleasant to deal with throughout. They seemed well-equipped and well-experienced. We were very pleased with the way they left the two trees. We would certainly use them again.

David and his team have carried out a few jobs for us; felling trees, pruning, and hedge trimming. They are always so professional and courteous that it is a pleasure to have them carry out the work.
