Anglo Scottish Pest Control

We had a mouse problem. I had laid some traps a week or two before , and had caught 7 mice. Fearing an infestation, I called Anglo-Scottish pest control. Gavin came out promptly. He inspected the situation thoroughly and said he was convinced I had cleared up the problem. Rather than charge me a call-out fee or lay his own traps he said to get back to him if I saw any further evidence of mice and he would come out to take care of the problem. He also briefed me on what to look out for.

There is no further evidence of the pests. We are now mouse-free! Gavin's honesty and desire to do the right thing by the customer is admirable, as is his thorough knowledge of how to eliminate the pests. I have no hesitation in giving him 5 stars and the highest possible recommendation.

We contacted Gavin when a bee swarm entered our roof space. Gavin was extremely helpful on the phone and via Whatapp: in looking at photos/videos and advising us on our options. Gavin then came out to look at the property, and he was professional and helpful. We've now decided to wait and see whether the bees are still there in the Spring, so we didn't actually engage Gavin's services (yet!). Nonetheless, I'm happy to recommend him.

I asked for a survey of my room for bedbugs and was able to get someone to come the next day. Communication was quick and friendly. Additionally, he answered the many questions I had.

I had a problem with mice. Favin responded quickly and efficiently. This problem was new to me and I was very upset about it. Gavin was kind patient and helpful. I found a dead rat at my kitchen door. Realised it had been poisoned by a neighbour who feeds feral pigeons . The next week, in the garden I found several large holes going under my decking. PANIC!!!
I phoned Anglo Scottish and within 2 hours Gavin arrived, confirmed they were indeed rat runs. He baited the holes, reassured me, and returned 5 days later to check his work.

We've had an infestation of mice. Jack arrived promptly. He was thorough and clearly knowledgeable about this subject. He analysed then treated the problem, but also made the time to answer my questions about the habits of vermin and the science behind the treatment. I wouldn't hesitate to use the service of this family run business again (I just hope I don't have to!) They are highly recommended.

This company is family run and have shown a high level of professionalism. They explained the process of work and agreed a schedule. They are clear and transparent on charges and have no hidden charges or add on. They Arrive as agreed and complete the schedule over 2 weeks as agreed. Our mouse problem ......after trying a couple of useless firms, we tried Anglo Scottish Pest Control. They are a joy to deal with, punctual, efficient, polite, reasonably priced - and above all, effective. We will definitely use them again and we have recommended them to several people.

I had earlier contacted another Edinburgh based pest control company on emergency call out. I was charged heavily, but their agent only placed glue boards and poison around the house. When I got back from holidays, I obviously did not have the courage to get rid of the mice that were stuck to the glue board and the follow up date given was longer than I had expected.
