Danny came to check front and back door locks, which he said were fine.
He refitted a bathroom door lock and handle which had come loose and away, and fitted a chain for the front door, explaining everything

I called Danny this morning and he answered immediately. I was booked in for 12 noon, but he finished early and was able to come sooner , which was great. The locks were fixed and another job on a upvc door fixed .

I cannot speak too highly of the service provided and the way in which it was provided. Locksmith came to our house within 30 minutes of answering phone call and took less than that time to fix it. He then showed us how to fix it ourselves next time!

I needed a broken handle replaced on a patio door. They came out on time to replace but needed to order a part which arrived the following day (it was too late in the afternoon to get that day). I was contacted when they had the part and they arrived 10 minutes later to fix it. I could not fault the service, polite, punctual and value for money. I’d recommend them and I would definitely use again.

After he arrived he went through all the options to solve the issue and when it was decided he worked quickly to resolve it.

This afternoon I returned to my flat to find that a visitor had adjusted the snib lock from the inside, before leaving my flat this morning, meaning that my key no longer worked in my Yale lock. Stressful since I had work to do and a Skype meeting to attend. Alcatraz Locksmiths said they could be with me within the hour, which they were. And the locksmith could not have been more considerate, kind, helpful, effective and friendly. He managed to sort the problem within 8 minutes, leaving no mess (as in scratches etc) on the paintwork, and all the while being extra cheery!! Would use Alcatraz Locksmiths again in a flash, and will recommend to all my friends too.

I locked myself out and went to work. I called up the locksmith Danny and we arranged a suitable for me to meet back at the house. He explained the charges to get me access 50 and 20 to replace the lock. I went for new replacement Chubb lock. £70. He was very friendly and the job carried out in 20 mins. I am very happy with the service. Thank you

We had two jobs one of which turned out to be a lot simpler than expected and the other a lot more tricky. The locksmith tried various solutions and sorted it all out for us - and didn't charge any extra because the first job was straightforward, which was very fair of him. Service was quick - they fitted us in the next day - and we knew what it would cost in advance. Really cheery locksmith and highly recommend this company.

Tradesman arrived (quickly) when he said he would, tried to open door lock without damage, then replaced it promptly when that wasn’t possible. Also gave advice on improving window locks in future. Excellent service.

Have used this locksmith on 3 different occasions now. Has always been able to provide an appointment within a time scale that suited. Has been prompt, kept up good communication if needed. Locked myself out my flat and called Alcatraz. Service was prompt and communicative taking no more than 15 mins to attend having explained options over phone. Being unable to access Assa lock was a confidence booster to my security and given the choice I opted to have my lock drilled out to access property and then a new lock akin to my old one fitted very professionally and speedily with 3 new keys supplied. Service was outstanding and value for money exceptional. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Danny to others.

I've never left a positive review about a trader before but I would wholeheartedly recommend any friend, family or insurer about Alcatraz!! They fixed my handle within 20 mins but crucially they explained the problem was my door alignment not the handle.they upgraded the handle and realigned the door in double quick time. My house had been broken into and the inside porch door was locked shut. I tried to unpick the lock and failed. It was after-hours, but I called Danny and he was over within 20 minutes. He managed to get the key out of the lock without damaging the old vintage door. It only took him 10 minutes. I'd highly recommend using this company.
