We had our central heating boiler and hot water tank replaced. David and his team then worked on our old system of radiators and got all of them working. Some had not worked for years! They changed our cold water system so that all sinks and toilets are now supplied direct from the mains.
David communicated clearly. The work was done efficiently and floors, etc reinstated after the work.

Fantastic job, David and the team are efficient, cost effective, tidy and provide a detailed breakdown of all work undertaken. Can't praise this company enough. As soon as I explained to David that my elderly mum’s boiler had been condemned, he came out that afternoon to quote for installation of a new one. He was thorough, explained things clearly and was very polite. Then he reprioritised his workload to come out the next morning (on time) to carry out the job with his colleague Sean. Result = a working boiler within a few hours and a huge sense of relief for me. I’ve already passed his details on to friends and will be asking him to do any heating related work for me in the future.

David was recommended by a friend approximately 2 years ago, when we were looking for a gas engineer to fit a new boiler. From first contact, David was efficient and reliable, with a lovely manner, who carried out the work to a high standard. Since then I have made contact a few times for other jobs. David today added a new radiator to our central heating system and replaced an existing radiator which had a slight leak. This work was carried out to a very high standard. David replaced a defective flue on my boiler. Every communication was prompt and courteous, he quoted the job and gave me all the information I needed. On the day he was punctual and after he cleared his work area, a very tidy worker.

David fixed the water pressure of my boiler and did the annual check at the same time. I am delighted with his work. He explains what is needed to be done and carries out his work very efficiently. He tidied up afterwards very well. I thoroughly recommend David to carry out any boiler work.

Annual boiler service of the boiler fitted a couple of years ago by McQueen Heating. It was the trusted trader status that led me to David when we needed advice on old boiler and his work was superb. Great service start to finish. Initial contact was to service boiler which discovered serious issues. David provided an option to fix though in the end we decided to replace the boiler with a new model. He was very knowledgeable in assisting with a replacement. I have just had my central heating back boiler replaced with a combi boiler by McQueen heating. I would like to say that the service I received from David and his colleagues was outstanding. David organised everything including removal and disposal of the old boiler, all electrical work required, and the blocking up and plastering of our fireplace. The new boiler was fitted and commissioned well within his estimated time despite the inevitable problems of working in an older property. Requested boiler service on Sunday evening and job was completed on Monday afternoon. Time slot was between 12-4 and David gave an hours notice before arrival.

Initially got old boiler hot water working which had not been able to be fixed by anyone else.

Then got new boiler fitted. Communication and advice superb and was fitted within the week. Conscientious and efficient.

Had to have further pipe work done to outside outlet (pipes in place from before).

Final job ,removing water pipe from previous plumbed in Fridge Freezer. Nothing seems to be too much trouble and all carried out efficiently. Their way of working gives you confidence.

Mr McQueen provided and fitted a new boiler. Turned up when stated and carried out the task professionally and completely to our satisfaction. Outstanding.

They responded to my call on a Sunday and had Sean come out on the following Tuesday, with plenty of SMS info about times. Got boiler limping along so David and Sean came out next day to do more repairs and fix a more permanent solution. They stayed longer than anticipated but only billed for the time quoted (I offered to pay more, they were that good).

Both very knowledgeable and capable. Good patter too. This took place in lockdown so both wore masks and used disinfecting wipes where possible. Excellent service.

He reassured me straight away about the safety precautions he would take while he was in my house - keeping a 2 metre distance at all times and wiping down every surface where he was working. We required a service for our boiler and, as or previous heating engineer is no longer available,we had to take a chance. Contacted David MacQueen and his response was prompt and excellent.
It's evident David is thorough, knowledgeable and takes a great pride in his work. He is also very frank with regard to issues which may be require to be addressed at a later date.

We had a Vogue Max 32 boiler installed by McQueen Heating on Wednesday 27th May 2020. I'm pleased to say that this company were a very good choice. Very professional & clearly know their trade. David & Sean did an excellent job with the installation - as did the electrician they brought in to help with a specific requirement we had (we'd asked to ensure we continue to have a mains socket available in our cupboard after the boiler install). David & Sean were very good throughout the process, clearly explained everything they were doing and worked tidily as well (including use of PPE and floor coverings - we had no mess at all to clean up after the job was complete). They even installed some additional pipework for us - for no additional charge - after identifying an issue with some of our existing pipes. We're very pleased with the results (it's nice to have reliable hot water again). Happy to recommend this company.

Quick reliable service . Emailed Monday night gas fitter arrived Tuesday lunchtime needed new part by Wednesday lunchtime I had hot water . All surfaces he touched were wiped down and social distancing was kept would definitely use McQueen heating again

Amazing service from David and his team. I contacted David late on a Sunday evening to ask for advice as my boiler was leaking. David responded immediately and arranged for Sean to attend my property at 8am the next morning. Sean was able to quickly fix the leak and advise of the next steps which recommended a new boiler. Due to having some issues with my boiler previously and recognising it was due to be replaced I decided to follow up with McQueen heating who provided me with different options for a new boiler. David and his team came out the following Saturday and fitted my boiler in a short space of around 7 hours. The service provided by David and his team was excellent - of a high standard and all members of his team were professional and polite. Was looking for local heating engineer initially to restore our Living room radiator which had fallen off the wall. Our usual National company found to be useless. Chose McQueen Heating largely because of their Trusted Trader status with E.R.C. Day after my call David arrived to assess the situation , immediately obtained help from Sean who was nearby and within an hour the radiator was up and running !
I enquired re the replacement of our ageing boiler ,was given a range of options and chose an Atag i28C Combi which was installed a couple of days later.
Can't speak highly enough of the work ethic of these guys. Also I was kept in touch all the way with what was happening. They came at the agreed times
and worked diligently until the job was completed. Charges invoiced as agreed verbally. Honesty and empathy with customers would seem to be the company's motto.

Had an old boiler removed and new one relocated with additional pipe work. Fantastic work and service by David and Sean and could not fault a thing. They even repiped our mains supply to improve the flow which has been great for our shower. Arrived early and worked hard to ensure we had heating back on that night. David at very short notice attended for gas boiler repair for an elderly lady who had no heating. Prior to his visit I explained the lady is living with ill health and had spent the weekend without any heating. David arranged to visit the day after I contacted him. He and his colleague who attended repaired the boiler which was over 20years old also advising of government services which could be contacted to help finance the installation of a new boiler. Removal of under-sink food waste macerator. Also replacement of faulty push-down sink plug. Excellent workmanship with good communication both before and after completion of the work. Would definitely recommend this small local company.

David and Sean replaced an old conventional boiler with a brand new ideal combiboiler and removed the old hot water tank in my new house. They were on time, professional, tidy and kept me up to date during the installation. They were so good I ended up using them again a few weeks later to replace my existing bathroom, they arranged all the tradesmen required and got the job finished quickly and to a very high standard. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending McQueen heating & plumbing.
