We had a funny smell in our shower drain and another company couldn’t help. We tried Tom who immediately knew what the likely cause was. He was professional, knowledgeable and didn’t make me feel daft for asking questions. Will definitely use him again.

This is the second, complete bathroom refurbishment that Tom Knight & Son have completed for us. The work was carried out to a very high standard and in the agreed time scale. Communication from the firm was clear and timely so we knew what go expect and when. We have no hesitation in recommending them.

Lewis helped me out on a heating system installation. He is always very reliable and hard working. Would recommend this company to anyone looking for a professional job done.

Lewis is my "go to" plumber and this time he fitted a boiling tap. As always he turned up exactly on time and did his usual excellent job. The fact that I had a to wait a little for him is a testament to the high demand for his services but he has been readily available in an emergency. I wouldn't go to anyone else. Highly recommended.

Just had our annual boiler service carried out by Lewis Knight, this company always turns up when they say they will. You’re never left wondering with Lewis, punctual to a tee. Quick efficient service , boiler gets a clean bill of health after a thorough check and clean.

I have used Tom Knight & Son several times, for an emergency call out due to a leaking pipe, to have a new tap installed, to have a new boiler fitted, and to have the boiler serviced a year later. Every time, the work done has been to a high standard, done when expected, and the price was reasonable. I have recommended this company to others many times, they are friendly, helpful and reliable. The quality of their work shows in the fact they are always really busy, but they have still always fitted me in quickly when things have broken and need to be sorted urgently.

My heating stopped working at 9.45pm last night , and I have two children below the age of 3, so the heating is essential through the night. I had phoned Lewis who very kindly helped me sort this and identify the issue so I could get the heating on until the morning.

Mechanical valve broken on Boiler. Lewis identified and fixed the issue within an hour.

Tom was brilliant, came at short notice and sorted and fitted a kitchen tap. Did a great Job and kept our 2 year old entertained whilst doing it.

Top work from Tom Knight & Son. We recently moved into a new house to find that the boiler was not operational. Lewis came out straight away and found the issue almost immediately. He went above and beyond to get the fix completed as quickly as possible. Trustworthy and efficient as always.

I asked Tom Knight and Son if they could design a system that would allow me to shut of the plumbing in the garage when we had heavy frost to prevent burst pipes. Because I didn’t follow his instructions fully the inevitable happened. Lewis was quick to react and fix the burst and absolutely refused payment even though it was my error. I have also used Tom Knight and Son for replacing a pop up plug system and drilling and fixing bathroom mirrors. Lewis Knight is a quality tradesman who is punctual, polite and very helpful. I have no hesitation in recommending this firm. I have just booked my annual boiler service with this Company after getting rid of British gas after 2 failed to attend appointments. Thank you Lewis.

I had an old radiator that I wanted replaced with a new vertical radiator and moved to another position in the room. The move was done to a very high standard, the radiator has been fitted perfectly, and they left no sign of having been in the room. Everything was left in immaculate condition.
Couldn’t be happier with the work and will certainly be using them again in the future.

Called Tom Thursday 30th as my boiler had packed in, he said they were busy but Lewis would pop round and take a look he was there within a couple of hours and checked boiler sadly it was done, Lewis then sorted out a few things to squeeze me in and had new boiler up and running by lunch time on Friday the 1st can’t thank Lewis enough for helping us out.

I can't speak highly enough of Tom Knight and Son. They are reliable, trustworthy and fare. I have used them on my client projects over recent years for kitchen and bathroom supply and fit as well as flooring and bespoke joinery. We moved into a new build 9 months again but heard lots of residents had problems with their boiler so we asked Lewis to come and check it over for us which he did and reassured us that the boiler was fitted and working satisfactory. Would always recommend Tom Knight & son for all plumbing work.

I was quite anxious, to call a heating engineer out, due to some bad experiences with tradesmen in the past but when Lewis arrived at my home to see why my boiler was leaking, he made me feel at ease, just could tell he was genuine/trustworthy.

My instincts were correct as hes done a great job fixing my old boiler, had to order few parts but kept me informed of pricing, when should or did arrive, he also explained why the certain parts were needed, showing me my broken parts to why they had stop working through time.

Lewis also looked on last visit, to another leak I found day b4 Under my kitchen sink unit, i thought maybe come from my loose tap!.
He discovered more leaks too, so I've booked him to fix this but very kindly out of the goodness of his heart, fixed my loose tap for me then & there not charging extra for this.
I can not tell you how extremely grateful i am to Lewis not only for my tap fix but helping with my boiler too, putting me at great ease, with my fears of past bad experiences.

One of our radiators wasn't heating up and after doing some tests ourselves we needed some professional help. We reached out via Trusted Trader and Lewis was quick to respond and able to fit us in. The fix itself didn't take long but needed Lewis' expertise and tools, he explained the issue and was helpful. I would definitely call TKS again!

We had some lead piping replaced which involved landscaping work in the garden. Tom and Lewis were punctual, reliable and got the work completed quickly. Liaising with Scottish Water involved delays, but they were great even when they had to wait around for SW. We would definitely use Tom Knight and Son again.

I contacted Tom on Monday morning about a problem with the boiler, which had left us with no heating and hot water over the weekend. I had a quote from Tom for replacing a shower screen and tray, the work also requiring the removal and replacement of floor and wall tiles. Having accepted the quote, I had to wait some time for the work to be done. It was well worth the wait. It was very clear that Tom takes an old-fashioned pride in his work and the workmanship across three trades (plumbing and subcontracted joinery and tiling) was to the very highest standard. The work was completed to schedule, communication was excellent and the work area could not have been left any cleaner. Highly recommended on every count.

We phoned TK&S given our heating and water had gone off and needed help in fixing it. Although on another job Lewis talked me through what to do with the boiler to remedy the issue, which he'd established as a low water pressure problem. He provided clear instructions which enabled me restore the water pressure and kick start the boiler. Great service and we've booked him in to have a wider look at our heating system.

Tom Knight came out to determine where blockage was as water was not flowing away from sink at an eldery residents house during recent icy spell in December 2022 Though Tom was very busy over this period,he came out within 24 hrs and rectified the problem very quickly. I will definately recomment his company to others in the future. I will be using Tom for other corrective issues concerning problems that need to be fixed in or outside of a property. Tom and Lewis converted a bathroom to a wet room for us in 2020 and we have used them ever since, from a further bathroom upgrade, wash basin replacement and more recently boiler servicing and system flush.

We had a leak in a newly fitted toilet, making it unusable. The plumber who fitted it was on holiday, so we contacted Mr Knight to see if he could sort the problem. He arrived the same day we contacted him, advised the problem was due to defective kit, and put in a temporary fix, advising that the toilet should be replaced. He was prompt, courteous and helpful, and did not charge for his advice. We will certainly use his services in future!

Contacted Knight and Son who we’ve used previously for a bathroom leak. We had just renewed the flooring so panic in case it got ruined. Lewis Knight responded immediately, came when he said he would and carried out the repair leaving a very neat and tidy job and at a very competitive price. We have had various work done over the last few years, including the installation of a shower unit, investigating and remedying leaks and boiler service.

I had a new shower room fitted.Tom and Lewis were very hard working, dependable and extremely polite men.They worked quietly, diligently and tidied up completely when they’d finished their work for the day. I couldn’t even get them to take a coffee!!!!
I’ve asked them for their cards and will pass them on ,happily, to anyone I know who needs a plumber as I am totally satisfied with their work.

Lewis has done a number of jobs for me over the past three years. Replacing a bath, changing tile bathroom and kitchen floors, adding in radiators and servicing my gas boiler and underfloor heating. All were excellent. On every occasion Lewis came up with ideas that improved what I had planned. A good tradesman who gets the job done.

I needed a new hot water tank installed in my 2 bed house. Lewis quoted a very competitive price and a date was set. Everything went ahead according to schedule and Lewis was great at communication. The fitting was done, but I noted a problem with the thermostat. Again communicating this to Lewis was easy and he replied quickly, with a resolution and just a few days later it was resolved. I’ve used this company for a number of years for boiler fitting, servicing and plumbing work. I couldn’t recommend them more highly. Excellent price, excellent work, excellent communication.

Lewis & Tom replaced our old small shower. They were very quick and efficient and we are extremely happy with our new spacious shower.

When we first called Tom Knight and Sons, we thought we only need a few small adjustments to our shower. It turned out there were a lot of hidden problems and we needed our shower room completely refitted. I contacted TKS to help us with two issues. One being a fault with our water tank which was causing water to leak out an external pipe and us to lose hot water. The other being a leaking downstairs WC.

From the get go Lewis was quick to respond. He requested some pictures of the water tank so he could source parts which was great as meant it saved time and no extra visits. As soon as he had the parts he was here to fit them. Lewis also suggested and carried out a service of the water tank which is not something we had thought about so was appreciated. The work was carried out quickly and to a high standard. We were also happy with the cost of the works completed.

When carrying out our annual boiler service, Lewis identified some parts that would not likely last for another 12 months and suggested having them replaced before they caused any issues. Soon afterwards we received all the information we needed to make a decision, being the parts being replaced, the cost of the job as well as when it could be completed. Once agreed Lewis arrived on time and carried the job out without any inconvenience to us. We're more than happy with the work by TKS and will be using them again in the future.

After ripping out a kitchen, bathroom and ancient water tanks, Lewis came in and fitted the new bathroom as well as repiping washing machine and kitchen.
