Robert completely redecorated my living room.
All prep work was done quickly & efficiently then woodwork painted, paper & paint for feature wall & ceiling/ walls painted.
We spoke about how long the job would take & times of day he would some along -he was on time & even tidied up afterwards.

He stripped the walls and had a lot of preparation to make the walls smooth. He is very meticulous and such a perfectionist. He was always punctual and cleared up everyday.

Absolutely delighted with the quality of the painting work carried out by Robert Brown. All preparation work carried out prior to painting was meticulous. I was very fortunate to get the work carried out before the latest restrictions and I would highly recommend Robert to others looking for a painter/decorator.

We contacted Robert for a quote to paint our hall/staircase, sitting room and conservatory. Arrived on time to do the quote and was impressed immediately. He offered suggestions we hadn't even thought off. Arrived on time the first day (and every day after that) and always cleared up afterwards. Was always bright and cheerful even first thing in morning. Would tell us the night before which room he would be doing next day so we could move elsewhere. Truly a professional and takes great pride in his work. Will definetely use again.

Didnt even have to make him a coffee. Just left jar of coffee, kettle ( and the biscuit tin for caramel wafers) and he did away himself.

We contacted Robert to redecorate our hall, dining room, lounge and kitchen. It was a huge task as wood varnished ceilings in dining room and lounge were to be changed to white satin finish. Robert came to see us about the job and we were immediately impressed as he came on time when promised to discuss the job. As it was such a huge job we went to our daughter's house for the three weeks and let Robert get on with the work. He is totally reliable, trustworthy and very meticulous and has such a lovely temperament. Nothing is too much trouble and his work is absolutely top class. It took lots of patience and hard work doing our ceilings and after five coats it was looking very impressive. Robert's attention to detail is seen in his work and we would have no hesitation in recommending him to any of our family or friends. We will certainly be calling on Robert again for any future work and enjoyed meeting him as he is such a gentleman and first class tradesman.

I had the soffits and front door of my house painted and then inside I had some quite nasty wallpaper stripped off the hall, the walls were filled and painted and so were the door facings and other woodwork and the ceiling was painted.

Robert was great: skilled in his work, reliable, punctual, patient, honest, conscientious, friendly and his rates were very reasonable. Getting the absolute centre of your very small house and all of the entrances to every room painted when you’re stuck inside working from home is quite a boxed-in kind of an experience but Robert was so easy going and efficient it was fine.

Painting walls and woodwork, varnishing doors and windowsills in upstairs and downstairs hallways, stairway, two bedrooms and bathroom. Clean, punctual, pleasant, careful and dog-friendly! Completely trustworthy; I was comfortable with leaving Robert a house key and letting him get in with it. Delighted with the job done and very happy to recommend.

We had our apartment completely repainted. Robert was extremely professional throughout. When he came to give us a quote he took time to talk to us about what we wanted, and advised us on what types of colours might suit different rooms and different walls.

Altogether, a very good experience. Robert painted the main bedroom (including ceiling, walls, doors, skirting boards, windows, radiator etc.); also the living room ceiling, which required treating for water damage as well as painting. He also helped me out with a small outdoor painting job at no additional charge. I really appreciated this and, too, the Senior citizen discount! All the work was carried out to a very high standard. Robert is a perfectionist and a real professional and I highly recommend his work.

Painted the entire interior of a 4-bedroom house with a very large living room, large kitchen & utility room.

Robert is a perfectionist with unlimited patience, which we must have tried on many occasions by changing our minds about paint colours after he had spent some time painting.

We tried hard to crack him, but he remained stoically courteous and good-humoured, and has even agreed to come back to paint the exterior of the house. He is also one of the few tradesmen we felt we could trust with the house while we went away on holiday. We highly recommend him and his work.
