I got a quick reply to my initial enquiry to have gutters cleared and repaired/replaced.

I agreed the price for the job and Mark and the guys were on time, and cleared everything up before they left.

I need other works done and will definitely use them again.

Mark arrived for the survey on time and emailed my quote that night. Work was completed on time and to a high standard. His team kept me updated on the progress at the end of each night. They left the work area spotless at the end of the job. I had all of the wooden sofits replaced with maintenance free upvc. The cost was slightly over budget but that was down to unforseen problems caused by my extension. I would highly recommend Mark and his team.

I have used Mark and the team at Musselburgh Slaters for several jobs now, both at our own home and at my father’s. Jobs include: slate replacement; mending cracked harling; putting up anti-pigeon wire round eaves; replacing a perished, wooden fascia of a dormer window with more durable UPVC; stripping, pointing and harling a chimney; replacing guttering, fitting cowls to chimneys. In all cases the work was done to the highest standard and we were shown photos before, during and after the job and kept up to date with every stage of the process. Mark, Mitch and the team are very professional and also polite and good fun.

I had a chimney removed. I have had many tradesmen at the house over the years but I've never had such hard working , polite and friendly workers as those who were here. Everything was explained to me in detail and photos taken as the work progressed. Nothing was too muck bother. EXCELLENT CREW AND WORK. Thank you.

Mark and his team were excellent, carrying out some roof tiling repairs after storm damage. Very quick to come out, friendly & informative throughout the job and had the job done in no time. Highly recommended.

Had my fascias and gutters replaced. I received my quote promptly. The team always arrived at the time specified and were very friendly and professional. Have used Musselburgh Slaters before and can’t see past these guys for an honest assessment and fair price and a good job. Had the rear of the house reharled and a minor leak fixed. Mitch and Ben are very friendly , hard working and nothing was too much trouble. This is a messy job but when everything was done they cleaned up and left the place spotless. Mark and his team are a pleasure to work with. We are delighted with the results and won’t hesitate to have them back.

Mark and his team did an excellent job from the initial estimate to the completed work which comprised a roof clean, tile replacement and repointing where required. The quality of work and the professionalism stood out as did their experience of working with tiles roofs. We are more than satisfied with the results and also appreciated the clean-up which was part of the service

Had some damage after Storm Eowyn, nothing major, 3 pieces of siding disappeared in the wind. Had trouble finding someone since it was such a small job.
Musselburgh Slaters got back to me quickly, and got the job done within a week.
They came across some other pieces that had been incorrectly fitted(new build house) and sorted them while they were up there.
Cost of the job was LESS than originally quoted and the roofers were great and left no mess.

Just replaced a tile. They did it properly.
