Gary, Shane, George and the rest of the team at Lock Solid Joinery did a great job at replacing a large main door to a communal building and constructing a brand new back door, and installing an entry phone system to all apartments. The work is of a high quality and the electrics are all in good working order. The property is substantially improved as a result. The team were consistently helpful and easy to work with and responsive to last minute requests. It was good value for the money spent and I would strongly recommend Lock Solid Joinery.

My experience with Lock Solid Joinery was absolutely superb. From the initial visit with Gary he listened and immediately gained a full understanding of our requirements for the property we had just moved into. He offered fantastic advice and solutions. We had security concerns and we changed our locks leaving us feeling our property is much more secure. Furthermore, we had other joinery requirements in the property and Gary made excellent cost effective suggestions. The communication throughout was excellent. Gary came out at very short notice to repair conservatory door which would not lock or close. He went above and beyond and now the door opens so smoothly, better that it has ever been. Would highly reccomend him.

Gary did an excellent job fixing a broken window hinge on a sash window and fitting locks to a number of windows. Neither job was as straightforward as it ought to have been, due to poor design of the in-place windows, but Gary applied ingenuity in finding ways to achieve the aims. His communication was excellent throughout and I would recommend him to anyone requiring similar work.

New lock system fitted to an external door which was seriously jammed. Initially difficult but Gary managed to fix the problem by his determination and hard work. Would highly recommend his company.

We had a door fitted. Gary completed the job to a very high standard. He tidied up after himself and took time to ensure we were fully satisfied with the work.

We wanted to fit a closer to the main door of St Anne's Church in Dunbar. The configuration of the door was complex and we had previously failed to find a solution or contractor to do the work. Gary accepted the challenge and was able to suggest an alternative, cheaper closer to the one that we had identified. While it took a little time to obtain the closer and make an arrangement to fit it, the closer is now installed and working. Thanks to Gary for overcoming a tricky problem.

My French doors suddenly wouldn't lock, although the actual lock itself seemed ok. Contacted Gary at Lock solid joinery and he came round very quickly. Sorted my doors and readjusted them (better than they ever were,actually). No hesitation in recommending.

It is with pleasure that I leave a review for Lock Solid Joinery. Lock Solid Joinery were tasked with the repair of a communal stair door on South Clerk Street. Contractors take on Communal repairs at their peril as the organisation required to quote for, approve and then complete work can often be substantial. This was one of the more challenging communal repairs I have worked on, with many opinions, and lots of toing and froing, even after the quotes had been approved. However, Lock Solid was so calm and patient throughout the whole process, it really spoke to their experience in this field. The work was exactly what we expected, as was the invoice.
We would highly recommend Lock Solid Joinery, and wouldn’t hesitate to use their services, again.

Lock Solid fitted new locks for our front and back door. They came round quite quickly to assess the work needing doing and did it as soon as they had the locks available. All done quickly and efficiently. Would recommend!

Replacement doors for 2 bedrooms including door furniture, hinges etc.  Also a bit shaved off kitchen door to stop it catching: Gary did a great job.  Really pleased with the work which was quite awkward as door frames are all off.  He was very considerate and tidy worker.  I would certainly recommend his services.

Key had broke in lock so tool lock off and removed broken key.  Oiled door and also did same with front door and realigned it at no extra cost: Excellent service.  Called about 10 am and he came to me about 11.30 am.  Would use again and recommend.

Replacement of faulty front door lock: We were locked out due to lock failure.  Gary arrived within half an hour of phone call and rectified the lock.

Replace main lock on front door and install a Yale lock as well: Gary was very good and the quality of his work could not be faulted.  I would highly recommend Gary to anyone.

Laminate flooring laid in a bedroom with existing built in wardrobes, removal and re-hanging of wardrobe doors and replacement of skirtings: I needed the job done at short notice and it was, with no reduction in professionalism, no increase in cost.  Gary's work is extremely high in standard with minimum disruption.  He even rang to say he might be 15 minutes later than expected but in the end was right on time, highly recommended.

Gary fixed my lock on my gate, patio doors, he also fitted my bath panel in bathroom and fitted 2 doors: Totally satisfied with all work carried out.  Left a very tidy state before he left.  I also found him to be very courteous and friendly.
