We have been trading for 12 years catering for domestic, commercial and industrial clients throughout Edinburgh, East Lothian and Midlothian.
We carry out all aspects of roofing work from overhauls to total renewals and also carry out the following: New natural slate roofs, tiled roofs, chimneys, guttering, downpipes, lead and cement work.

Completed a less than straightforward project involving previous lead roof. The job was undertaken in extreme weather conditions. The guys arrived, started the job and never stopped at any stage.
The works were staged due to weather conditions. At all stages everything was left wind and watertight.
Arrived when they said they would.

John and team are excellent. John took time and care in evaluating the problem with our roof and gave us pragmatic and proportionate advice. The work was done with his skilled and friendly team and John was on hand throughout to support us with explaining everything. Thank you! Carried out essential work on garage roof at late mother’s house. The roofers attended promptly, worked thoroughly, cleaned up all debris and were polite and helpful. The work was carried out to a high standard. Have used J&D roofing before and would certainly be happy to use them again.

Sofitt was rotten and needed replacing and gutters needed cleaning out. John came out quickly to assess job and work was carried out promptly by Gordon. They tidied up and took all debris away. Would not hesitate to use company again.

We had a completely new roof laid on a very old farmhouse. It wasn't a straightforward job, but John and his team did a fantastic job. The roof looks amazing now, and they were a great crew to have around. They were tidy, courteous, good humoured and ensured that all the little elements were done properly at the end. The team was hardworking at all times, with John going in front as a leader, happily picking up some of the less satisfying tasks. We would recommend these roofers to anyone!

Following recent storm I contacted J&D to see if someone could come to remove overhanging roof tiles as they were in a dangerous position. They came out within a couple of hours and removed them (Even although it was still a bit windy) I also received an estimate for the repair works required the following day.

Roof Tiles Replaced to make property watertight.
Dealing with J&D Roofing was incredibly straight forward. From first phone call, to quote issued, to work completed was very quick. John explained the work required, agreed a quick date for the work due to the weather forecast. The team on the roof were great. All debris cleared off the site. No issues, and will be using them again for any work required in the future on the roof or indoor building work.
