Very professional service from first contact right through to submission of invoice. Response times are from a bygone era. Took an iMac which was dying and upgraded it to a standard which is better than when it was new. All I had to do was plug and play when I got home. Zero hassle. If you have an issue with an Apple product do not go anywhere else.

I contacted Kevan when my MacBook refused to complete a software update and got stuck in a lopk, leaving the computer completely unusable. He was confident that he would be able to fix it while I waited when I dropped it off, however it was a bit more broken than initially thought. Kevan had it all fixed the next day and even kindly cleaned the computer and replaced some of the feet that had previously come off. Kevan is extremely knowledgable and provides a great service, I will definitely use him again for issues with my Mac.

I contacted Kevan after the Apple store were not particularly helpful.... He replied straight away, explained the problem and gave me really good advice. He answered a number of my questions and I was then able to go back to the Apple store, argue my case and they replaced the broken part for free.

My iMac kept crashing and I could not restart it. I am self-employed and use my iMac on a daily basis. I got in touch with Kevan to ask for advice and he was very quick to respond, even though it was on a Sunday. He was able to access my iMac remotely and suggested an update. When that did not work, I had to take it into his office for an operating system reboot. This was carried out most efficiently, and I am pleased to say I have had no further problems.

My iMac computer had been slowing down over several weeks. I phoned a company who turned out did not repair Mac computers but
who knew a man who did! That man was Kevan. And I am so glad I followed up the recommendation.
Following an initial phone call, Kevan called round to the house, diagnosed the problem and took me through the solution, why it had happened, how it could be put right and the ensuing cost. He also gave me several useful pieces of advice. He took away the computer and returned it working as well as it did when I first bought it, all in less than a week. Throughout, Kevan's communications were superb. Telephone messages and emails acted on promptly, estimates, invoices, receipts all sent within 24 hours.
I have no hesitation in recommending him. As well as his expertise and professionalism, he is a thoroughly nice guy to do business with.

Replacement logic board was required for 2010 27” iMac, which was diagnosed and sourced very quickly. Very happy with the service from Kevan at Fix My Mac and would certainly use again.

Kevan has transformed my 10 year old iMac to be as good as new - in fact, I think it may be even better than when I first purchased it! It was ridiculously slow and I'd more or less accepted it was time to get a new one. Kevan was very friendly and helpful from the moment he answered the phone until he finished the job. He is also very reliable.
I had phoned Apple support on numerous occasions as my son’s MacBook would not connect to our home WiFi. They were helpful but did not solve the issue and said that there was obviously a problem with our WiFi. We knew there wasn’t as his MacBook was the only device that would not connect.
Kevan came to our house and deduced that it must be a fault within the computer. He took it away and found that when Apple had previously fixed it they had left one of the wires loose!
He has also fixed issues we had with our WIFI signal strength and our televisions connecting to Sky. This was a problem that had been ongoing as a result of an inadequate job done by a previous contractor.
I would definitely recommend Kevan to anyone - I just wish other tradespeople were up to his standards!
