Alex responded very quickly to my call and assisting with an issue I have been having with my hearing system. And came to the house when he was able. Looked over the heating system that keeps cutting out for no reason. It was working when Alex arrived. And there was no evident issue found as it was again working. Alex would not accept payment.
Would come again if needed. Friendly and understanding of the system and concerns for this not working as it needs to. Would recommend.

Alex came to fit a new programmer for the gas central heating and hot water system. I had hoped that it might be possible to fit one that could be operated remotely by my mobile phone, but this proved impossible. Alex called me later the same day having found out the reason why this would not work.

I then bought a programmer online and Alex came to fit it. The job was done quickly and professionally and the programmer functioned properly (and is still doing so). Alex responded very quickly to my text messages when setting up the arrangements for his visits, and arrived on time. I am happy to recommend his services to others.

Alex completed services on our gas fire and gas boiler. The boiler had been losing pressure and I expected major replacement parts but non required, just proper servicing.

Alex was very thorough, explained what he was doing and highlighted some additional points regarding the boiler and fire but in no way was trying to sell any additional work.

In short, I’d be very happy to recommend Alex to family and friends - very knowledgeable and personable. And trustworthy. Can’t really ask for more.

Alex replied to my initial message quickly and was friendly and professional throughout the whole process. He tried his best to fix our boiler rather than immediately suggesting a new one was required. He helped us to locate parts and ended up giving the boiler a full service, leaving it working more efficiently than before. We also had a valve replaced within the system. Alex fixed a gas leak in our house discovered during a boiler service. He really went the extra mile to identify where the leak was and avoid having to cause cosmetic damage to our property in carrying out the repair.

He came on short notice, worked into the weekend to get it fixed and changed a very good rate for the amount of work he put in.

Will definitely be getting in contact with him in the future should we need a gas engineer.

I've got a bad habit of using these sites but not actually leaving a review. in this case I felt I had to. I had a small radiator that wasn't working. Picked three heating engineers from this site. Alex replied almost immediately. Was able to come a few days later. Fixed the problem very quickly and charged very reasonably for his time. Highly recommended.

Alex has been a godsend for us! We’ve chucked everything at him (broken boilers, blocked drain, corroded pipes, collapsed ceilings, squiffy flue, plus replacing hot water tank and fitting new radiators - all in the space of six weeks!) and he has managed to sort all of our issues quickly. He’s great at what he does and a lovely person to have around. We couldn’t recommend him highly enough!

Heating not working properly and British Gas unable to attend for 10 days , Alex Russell attended within an hour , immediately identified the fault , carried out the work and replaced relevant part . Boiler service. I cancelled my long term boiler service contract with big 6 service company, due to poor service and exorbitant charges.
Alex responded at short notice, arrived on schedule and completed the service to my satisfaction. Alex explained details of the technical aspects of the service and issued a detailed formal report. I will be utilising Alex services for all future boiler work.

I moved to my present home at then of February & have since found that certain rooms had too many, or badly located, radiators.
Alex checked these out for me, & provided a very good quote for their removal &, or, their relocation.
I'm pleased to say the whole job, from quote to finishing, only took a couple of weeks. He arrived on time, & 'got stuck into' the work, & explained all the processes from emptying the radiator system, to capping off the used pipes, to extending pipework to the newly sited radiator, & refilling the system,
He also double checked everything was working properly again before leaving, but said to contact him if I had any problems later on.
Now the weather's changed, I'm really glad he could come so quickly.

Alex Russell fitted a filter to my gas boiler which had been recommended during the annual service by my service company. I wanted to get a second opinion on the availability of parts for my boiler which had been put in doubt by my service company. I was more than happy with the work and advice from Mr Russell and will be terminating my existing contract at renewal.

Alex fitted a new radiator in our Garage conversion and replaced an old one in the family bathroom. Great Job and very reasonable.
