Extremely efficient team of roofers completed the work very promptly, successfully and tidily….I wished the work done for 2 reasons
Firstly to improve the safety of my roof during storms .
And secondly to remove the convenient place for the local seagulls to build a nest or to perch on and waken me up most mornings at dawn by their horrendous squawking .
Both of these aims were successfully fulfilled by Colin and his team at a reasonable cost. I have no hesitation in recommending them as Trusted Traders.

This is the third time I have used Burnside Roofing, this time for a full roof replacement. I have absolutely no complaints, the team worked quickly and efficiently, cleaning up after themselves at the end of each day and a full clear up at the end of the job. Colin kept me fully appraised along the way which was very reassuring.

I contacted Colin about a water leak coming through our bedroom ceiling, asked for a quote for a replacement of the whole roof he checked it out and showed me the fault, and advised me to fix the issue rather than a roof replacement, he carried out the work in a fast and professional manner, even after the last two storms no leaks would refer him if I need him again.

Had a leak and Colin was quick to give me a quote and work was carried out in a very good time frame.
Unfortunately the problem persisted and Colin came straight back the next morning to have another look.
I fully appreciate that some leaks are very difficult to find but the difference is I don’t feel abandoned.
In the past I had a leak that couldn’t be fixed and had multiple people who would try once and then wash their hands of it.
Colin has been very reassuring that I contact him if there are any further issues.
As always the work done has been carried out to a high standard and not a scrap of mess to be seen.

Having had a problematic leak for several years, with various roofers trying to locate the issue in the past, Burnside Roofing came to assess the property and laid out a plan of action with us as part of the initial estimate. After confirmation that we had approved the estimate, we were regularly kept informed as to when the team might start work.

During the first day or so, Burnside Roofing set up scaffolding and began repairs. These were more extensive than initially thought and Colin kept us informed at every step about issues discovered (with photos) and the expected additional costs.

The team were courteous, tidy and efficient and communication was exemplary, at no point were we left in any doubt about work being carried out or when the team were next arriving. Photos of work carried out were shown to us on several occasions, and even as a layperson, I was able to see the quality of the work completed.
We still need to see if the repairs have solved our problem, but I have every confidence that the thorough work and attention to detail given by Colin and his team will have done the trick. In addition, we already have a plan of action agreed going forward, should the repairs fail to resolve the leak and we are left in no doubt as to whether Burnside Roofing would be available to come back to us should we require this.

We own a semi detached property sobit was important to us for our neighbour to feel they understood the work taking place, in this case a chimney removal.

The actual job was remarkably completed in one day and you would not have known they had been at times working within our property, it was left spotless....not bad when one considers a log burner needed to be removed and subsequently re fitted. Contacted Burnside Roofing in relation to a leak coming through my hall ceiling. Responded quickly and came out to have a look at it. Provided a detailed invoice straight away. Kept me informed with time scales and have came out and fixed the leak along with a few tiles that needed replaced. Very professional, tidied up after themselves and provided pictures of the repaired tiles and replacement lead. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend burnside roofing ltd, replaced ridges and hips with dry ridge system, looks fab and professionally done, all done in 1 day, amazing, the boys were all charming, a lot of old cement and tiles came off but all cleaned up when they left,very pleased with work done, knowing that the gales won’t be blowing these off.

We feel confident, that they would take “ care” of your problem, however little or small it may be.

From our 1st meeting with Colin he was totally professional and extremely clear on what would best for the work that was required and how best and most cost effected way to do it. We had a complete re-roofing of a fairly large property and all the timber etc replaced with pvc, down pipes and gutters etc.
Colin's advise was priceless to us and from start to finish he project managed the full job from ordering materials arranging deliveries of goods and being on site every day even at weekend and was in 24 hour contact with us during very bad weather while the works was being completed.

Colin carried out repairs and/or replaced hip ridges and damaged tiles. Removed flue and tiled over, installed bird stop to all eves and lead work. Undid previous substandard work carried out by another roofer and made good both functional and aesthetic qualities.

I cannot recommend Burnside Roofing highly enough. It was a pleasure to do business with him. Had to wait in queue until Colin was free and weather favourable to carry out the required repairs but absolutely worth it and he was upfront about this when he called to provide an estimate.

Burnside Roofing assessed the problems with the Firestone roofing to our house extension and adjoining garage. The roofing had been poorly laid by a previous contractor. All the numerous deficiencies were identified and the necessary remedial work carried out expertly and quickly. The roofs are now restored with new fascias, edging seals and resealed roofing. I cannot recommend Burnside Roofing too highly.

Colin responded really quickly to my initial request, and attended onsite shortly afterwards to undertake a full roof assessment to enable us to make an informed decision on the amount of work required. He understood our timeframe, and was able to confirm an approximate realistic lead time to complete the work in keeping with this. His honesty and transparency was much appreciated.

The whole team worked so hard to get the job completed - arriving bang on time each morning, kept me informed through the day of progress, and a plan for the next day. Really impressed by the professionalism of Colin, Kieran and Ryan throughout the job - the ridging and chimney look fantastic now - and the clean up operation once the work was complete was impressive.
